Mother is a very great woman, every mother is the heart of her child. Mother is a human who has unlimited love, becomes an important thing in a family. Mother is an irreplaceable person, she is a strong, patient and loving woman for her children.
After 6 years of losing the figure of a mother, I lost my way, even though I have become an adult human, it turns out that until now I still want the presence of a mother. Instantly, when I got married, I found the mother figure back from my mother-in-law. She took the place of my mother who had died.
Many people say that a mother-in-law will never get along with her daughter-in-law, but for me, my mother-in-law is different, she loves me like the daughter she gave birth to, just like my mother.
No different from my mother, when I was sick, my mother-in-law always accompanied and took care of me when my husband was at work. One day, when I was hospitalized, my mother-in-law kept me awake, fed me while eating and helped me to take a bath while the IV in my hand was still attached. I felt less lonely and felt a mother's love return.
My mother-in-law was never angry, never even asked me to do housework or even demanded that I become a dream son-in-law. Most in-laws would demand to do something the best, but my mother-in-law is very different, she loves me just the way I am. Having a mother-in-law like this is my luck.
Birthday My Mother In Law
This September is her birthday month, on September 8, she turns 59 years old. The age is not young anymore, but the spirit is still young and vibrant, always healthy and cheerful. This is what makes him always look young.
This year, I plan to celebrate his birthday and make a birthday cake. After 5 years of marriage, this is the first time we have had the chance to celebrate our mother-in-law's birthday, because many things didn't allow us to do it years ago.
My mother-in-law loves cake, she likes any cake that tastes good. I happen to be a little good at making simple birthday cakes, decorations as they are. I made a vanilla sponge cake as a base, decorated with whipped cream and local strawberries.
I made a simple sponge cake with a diameter of 25cm, this time the cake is not so high but a little big. Because the pan to make sponge cake is only makeshift, so just use the existing ingredients.
Before making a birthday cake, prepare some tools such as; sponge cake mould, icing bag, turntable, cake scraper, and cookie cutter knife.
Sponge cake:
- 6 eggs
- 100 gr sugar
- tsp emulsifier
- 90 gr butter
- 100 gr wheat flour
- Pinch Vanilla extract
- 10 gr cornstarch
- 50 liquid milk
Buttercream:
- 20 gr unsalted butter
- 250 ml whipped cream
- 15 grams of powdered sugar
As for how to make a birthday cake:
- First, mix all the buttercream ingredients until fluffy. Beat the buttercream until stiff. Then put it in the refrigerator.
- Make sponge cakes; mixer eggs, sugar and emulsifier (I use sp), beat until the dough expands. Signs of rising, stiff dough and traces.
- Melt butter and cool down.
- Weigh the flour, vanilla extract and cornstarch, then sift and add to the mixture that has been in the mixer.
- Mix with liquid milk and butter. Stir gently until well blended using a spatula.
- Cover the sponge cake mold with baking paper, then add the dough and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Once cooked, refrigerate the sponge cake for 1 hour.
- Cut into 2 parts sponge cake, adjust to taste.
- Put the buttercream into the icing bag, spread it on the sponge cake. Decorate according to taste. I used a little coloring for the writing and a few slices of local strawberries.
- Birthday cake for mother-in-law is ready to be served!
