Traveling is indeed desired for everyone when the lockdown is finished, however, there are still many restrictions and complicated rules with airlines and destinations. Therefore, I would choose to retreat myself with one of the most favorite food outside. It has been over months that I didn't eat outside, and I miss the time out with family and friends and especially my favorite food.
Fish & Seafood
It's not only my favorite food but also my beautiful childhood memory. Since I was a child, my dad often went fishing and we had fish every day at home which never made me fed up with it. Sometimes, he allowed me to follow him on his boat and sailed around a river and floating fields. I grew up with that beautiful memory and feel so proud of sharing my childhood with friends whenever I have a chance. Currently living in Danang, there are so many choices with seafood, I enjoy walking along the coast and see people purchasing fresh fish here.
There are some local seafood restaurants appearing in mind when thinking of my dinner. I will leave them as my recommendations for some Hive friends who are living in Vietnam may pass Danang one day,

Plant Based Meals
Never calling myself a vegetarian, however, I enjoy eating veggies every day. I feel so powerful when I bite broccoli or any veggie salads. Probably related to my birth year lol. I am a horse and horse loves grass and vegetables ;)
It's easy to find ingredients and cook at home, however, eating outside is nicer atmosphere and also better present. I will leave some favorite places in Danang below,

BBQ
It sounds very hot to make BBQ at home in the summertime, however, there are many BBQ places in town, and having BBQ suits well to family or friends' reunion. Personally, I prefer a bit private style, like book a villa with a garden or rooftop of an apartment or a hotel. We just need to search online a bit, actually, it's not expensive here (from 50 USD, you have your own space). Last year we made it at Danang Boutique Hotel, which was a shared space with others but still ensured we had our own corner. They sold a package of grilled food together with a drink at 150k -200k VND (around 7 - 10 USD), plus a free used swimming pool. It's cool to hang out with friends and family right?
There are many places to hang out and have fun with friends and family, especially after covid lockdown. It depends on how you want to celebrate that day. I hope you get some ideas from my post and have fun with your beloved ones.
Never been to Vietnam, but this post made me put down a note on my bucket list. Let's hope the situation quickly get over. I don't want home vacation anymore!

Hi there, @babeltrips I got to give it to the Asia people they sure know how to eat well here in Thailand, I have experienced many beautiful dishes and still am as you have display and they are so cheap and delicious you have made me hungry :)
Haha,yes everything is so cheap here in SEA. I think Danang even cheaper than Pattaya
If you buy in Pattaya city everything is more expensive but I go direct to the wholesale markets and buy everything from there and cook myself , I sometimes good to direct to the fisherman coming in after there night catch and buy direct from them it helps them out more :)
