Good evening everyone here on hive. It is now Friday and I bet some of your are preparing to have night out tonight. Have a blast if you will and drink moderately lol.
By the way, tonight I am gonna show you a dish that is a common delicacy here in the Philippines and is always present in some of the restaurants and karenderyas. I don't know what is the exact name for this one but this is just basically sauted squash and string beans with pork.
To start cooking this dish you need to prepare the following ingredients:
Sliced squash and string beans
Sliced pork
Sliced garlic and onion
For seasoning, I used salt, pepper, soy sauce, oyster sauce and special seasoning.
Start by sauteing garlic and onion with hot oil in a pan. Let it cook until it become brown.
You can now add your sliced pork and put some salt and special seasoning in it for flavor. Cover it until cooked.
Add your sliced squash and add some soy sauce. Mix them all and cover it again until your squash will be half cooked.
Then finally add your string beans and add a little bit of water. Season it with oyster sauce and pepper and adjust its taste depending on you.
That is it guys. Tara kain! I hope you enjoyed reading this food blog.
I'm saving this recipe till summer, when we'll have fresh veggies in the garden. What you can buy now is expensive and tastes like plastic :)
