Hello everyone
Today we went to Bujana, one of the delicious restaurants in Kosovo. There are many big restaurants in our neighborhood. All of them are beautiful and people come from neighboring cities to eat here. It is already evident from the investments made by the restaurants. I think the last time I was in this restaurant before the pandemic. They have made many changes in terms of decor. I can see the sense of sincerity in the energy of the staff.
Preparations have started because Christmas is coming. At Christmas time and in the summer, in July and August, a lot of people come from Switzerland and Germany. Expats who were born here but live their lives there. That's why it's so crowded here at these times.
As we enter, we are greeted by cute decorations with a Christmas concept.
They designed the paintings and interior decor with an old time theme. They often show women in local clothes in the paintings.
When we sat at our table and placed our orders, I ordered Pljeskavica, Kosovo's special meatball. Pljeskavica is usually made plain. I preferred the one with a lot of cheddar cheese. There was a lot of cheddar cheese. This took the meatballs to a higher level. It is prepared with a little parsley, peppers, onions and a lot of meat. The difference of this meatball is that it doesn't have a lot of ingredients and spices like other meatballs. You can taste the meat while eating it. As a side dish we had sauteed vegetables and fresh handmade pasta. Generally, cabbage salad and rice are preferred with meatballs here. I thought this fresh pasta idea was different and good. It was far from the classics. This made it more delicious. We didn't forget to order fries with it :) All of them tasted very good.
After we finished our meals, we went out for some air but it was very cold. We looked around a bit and went back inside.
I am sure this place will be very beautiful in summer. When I come back in the summer, I plan to show you the beautiful weather and abundant greenery 😊
