Hola queridos hivers❤️. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una receta clásica y reconfortante que seguramente les encantará: carne guisada en salsa de tomate con zanahoria y papas. Este plato es perfecto para esos días en los que deseas disfrutar de un almuerzo o una cena casera, llena de sabores auténticos y con ingredientes sencillos.

Hello dear hivers ❤️. Today I want to share with you a classic and comforting recipe that you will surely love: stewed meat in tomato sauce with carrots and potatoes. This dish is perfect for those days when you want to enjoy a homemade lunch or dinner, full of authentic flavors and simple ingredients.

500 gramos de carne de res500 grams of beef
AceiteOil
1 cebolla grande, picada en trozos pequeños1 large onion, chopped into small pieces
2 dientes de ajo, picados finamente2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 zanahoria grande1 large carrot
2 papas medianas2 potatoes
1/4 taza de puré de tomate1/4 cup tomato puree
1 cucharadita de pimentón dulce1 teaspoon paprika
Sal y pimienta al gustoSalt and pepper to taste

Procediemientos

Procedures

  1. En una olla grande, calentamos el aceite a fuego medio-alto. Agregaremos la cebolla picada en trozos pequeños y el ajo machacadao. Así cómo también la carne cortada en trozos medianos para dorarla por todos los lados hasta que esté bien sellada.
  1. In a large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion into small pieces and the crushed garlic. As well as the meat cut into medium pieces to brown it on all sides until it is well sealed.

  1. Pelar la zanahoria y las papas y cortarlas en trozos medianos. Agregarlas a la olla.
  1. Peel the carrot and the potatoes and cut them into medium pieces. Add them to the pot.

  1. Salpimentamos todo muy bien. También es el momento de agregar los condimentos que uqeramos: paprika, ajo en polvo, cúrcuma y oregano.
  1. We splash everything very well. It is also time to add the seasonings that we require: paprika, garlic powder, turmeric and oregano.

  1. Agregamos también el puré de tomate un taza de agua y tapamos la olla para que se cocine todo a fuego bajo durante al menos 30-40 minutos o hasta que la carne esté bien cocida.
  1. We also add the tomato puree, a cup of water and cover the pot so that everything is cooked over low heat for at least 30-40 minutes or until the meat is well cooked.

  1. Cuando la carne esté lista, servirla y acompañarla con arroz blanco.
  1. When the meat is ready, serve and accompany with white rice.
