Hello fellow hiveans!
You can check out this new dish flavor I prepared for lunch yesterday.
This recipe is Vegetable Stir Fry— a combination of potato, carrots, beans, and pork as our main product.
Knorr sinigang liquid (chili flavor) is used as the main seasoning for this vegetable stir fry.
I do not have an idea where vegetable stir fry is originated and what are the proper procedures of cooking this so pardon me if you find it different, that is because I am trying out a combination of some seasonings.
The result of experimenting different combination of seasonings went good though. I like the different flavor.
— your chef for today's recipe blog.
Here are the ingredients:
2 ladle Olive Oil
2 pinch Magic Sarap
6 tbsp Knor Sinigang Liquid Seasoning (Chili flavor)
6 tbsp Oysterrific
1 tbsp Del Monte Tomato Paste
+
125 g Pork Belly
½ Garlic
3 Onion
1 Tomato
+
1 Carrot
1 Potato
¼ kg Beans
Here is my preparation and cooking method:
Chop pork belly into small pieces.
Wash thoroughly then boil in high fire until meat absorb the water and meat gets dry and oily. [But since the pork is more on meat and has only few fats, the natural oil it produces in the pan was not sufficient so I have to add olive oil needed for Sautéing condiments.]
- While waiting for boiling meat to be done, take your time to peel and slice the condiments— these are the tomato, garlic and onions.
After slicing the condiments—
Heat the pan and pour 2 ladle of Oil.
Sauté garlic until it becomes golden brown in color.
Sauté onions until you smell the aroma.
Sauté tomato until it becomes tender.
- Next, peel and slice the potato in your desired size. For me I made it long strips like french fries cut.
- Slice carrots into tiny pieces. Make it thin or tiny if you want it to be cooked tender.
- Wash beans and slice in tiny slanting cut.
Set fire in medium.
Sauté carrots until 3 minutes. Add the potato slices and beans in pan and wait 3 minutes before stirring them all together.
Pour 1 glass of water.
Add 2 pinch of Magic Sarap; 6 tbsp Knor Sinigang Liquid Seasoning (Chili flavor); 6 tbsp Oysterrific oyster sauce; and 1 tbsp Del Monte Tomato Paste.
I added cumin powder for additional flavor and aroma.
