At a movie afternoon, popcorn is the protagonist, but if you have a sweet tooth, chocolate is also a must. Today I share a quick snack just for those with a sweet tooth. If you have kids at home, they will be amazed.
You only need a few ingredients:
- 200 grams of dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup of popcorn
- vegetable oil
- salt to taste
- peanut butter (optional)
Place a pot of water to heat. In another smaller pot, place the chocolate. Place this pot into the hot water to melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
Pour the melted chocolate into a silicone mold. At home, I have one for making bars. Give it a few small blows so that the chocolate is evenly distributed and there are no air bubbles inside the bar.
In a frying pan, put vegetable oil and pour the corn. Cover and let them inflate. Once the popcorn is ready, add salt.
Place the popcorn on the chocolate. Try to do it when the chocolate is still soft. Let stand until the chocolate solidifies.
Carefully unmold the bars, and you can serve them with a little peanut butter. The combination of flavors and textures is fantastic.
It is a snack that you can make with the help of the kids at home. IT is an opportunity to have fun together and then watch the movies. Do you try a snack like this?
