Very well, the first thing I did was to add all the butter in a more or less wide bowl so that it can contain all the cake mixture. Then I added all the sugar. Now, mix these two ingredients very well. It is important that it takes a white color, because that is a good indication that we have mixed well and it is time to add the following...
Then I added the 2 eggs and continued mixing. As you can see I used a large wooden spoon, but you can also use a mixer if you prefer. Just remember not to beat too much so that it doesn't lose its consistency. I usually do it in the same direction and gently. Ah, here after mixing add a lemon zest.
The third step is to pour the liquid milk and 100 grams of wheat flour, that is, 1 cup, and mix the milk and flour little by little. Of course, not all at once, I did it little by little to avoid lumps.
Now that I have my mixture, the next step is to divide it into another container. Try to do it in two equal parts. So, there are 100 grams of flour left (1 cup), 50 grams will be to finish the consistency of the white mixture and the other 50g to prepare the chocolate mixture (my favorite).
In this way, I added the cocoa powder and then the flour little by little and mixed very well. On the other hand, I added the flour corresponding to the white mixture and followed the mixing procedure. Now it's ready!
The exciting moment came, as it is a small cake I used a small cake pan, I spread butter and then put flour so as not to have problems when taking out the cake; then to get the striped design I poured the mixtures in the following way:
3 spoonfuls of white mixture right in the center of the tray and then, right on top of it and in the center, being very careful not to spill anything, I placed 3 spoonfuls of chocolate mixture. And so I just kept on going, just piping them in until they were all gone.
Ahora, directo al horno por 45 min.
Now, straight into the oven for 45 min.
I would like to tell you that since this is my first time making this cake, I had doubts about the result. I thought it was not going to turn out as I expected and more because when I was adding the spoonfuls of mixture I sometimes spilled a little, but I think it is something that with practice I will improve. However, I really like to do little things like this and try. Honestly, it is something that gives me peace of mind, but at the same time it excites me, even if I do it alone, and even if it is not a complicated recipe. I recognize that it is simple, but I enjoy it just the same. I think that when I get older I will probably be one of the grandmothers who bake and not one of the grandmothers who knit.
