Hola amigos de Hive, en el día de hoy les traigo una receta criolla de la comida que suelo hacer en casa los lunes. Para elaborarla, van a necesitar una libra de pollo, una cebolla blanca grande, una col, una libra de arroz, unos garbanzos previamente cocidos, cinco plátanos verdes, 3/4 de libra de salsa de tomate, una cabeza de ajo, 6 gramos de sal, 3 gramos de pimienta, la mitad de un tomate maduro y algunas hojas de cilantro.

Lo primero que vamos a hacer es cortar el pollo en tiras pequeñas. Luego procedemos a rallar la col y cortar la cebolla. El tercer paso sería agregarle la salsa de tomate al pollo, que vamos a dejar cocinar a fuego medio por aproximadamente cinco minutos hasta que esté dorado. A continuación, le agregamos la cebolla y la col que ya cortamos y lo dejamos cocinar por 15 minutos a fuego medio. Luego, ponemos a cocinar el arroz y batimos el caldo de garbanzos, con el cual estaremos haciendo posteriormente una sopa. Cortamos los plátanos, los agregamos al garbanzo batido con sal y pimienta al gusto, y lo dejamos cocinar por 20 minutos. Así quedaría lista nuestra sopa. Hello Hive friends, today I bring you a Creole recipe for the food I usually make at home on Mondays. The first thing we are going to do is cut the chicken into small strips. Then we proceed to grate the cabbage and chop the onion. The third step would be to add the tomato sauce to the chicken, which we will let cook over medium heat for about five minutes until golden brown. Next, we add the onion and the cabbage that we already chopped and let it cook for 15 minutes over medium heat. Then, we put the rice to cook and blend the chickpea broth, which we will use to make a soup later. We cut the plantains, add them to the blended chickpeas with salt and pepper to taste, and let it cook for 20 minutes. This is how our soup will be ready. I love preparing this type of Creole food because it really reminds me a lot of the food my mother used to make for me when I was a child.
