Hello Crafthy hivers, I am back! Your Cebuana crafter ' crafting her future'.It's been a long time since i posted my last blog and Iam very grateful because lots of positive comments I've received from everyone.
Today's blog I will not talk or make some tutorials with crochet creations and stuff.I will be sharing you all my healthy dinner version.Yes! I call it healthy dinner version because it consist of ingredients that is purly organic came from our backyard.If we say organic that means no added chemicals and it is safe to eat and also we can guarantee that it is good for our health.One of the most likeable personality that I have is I can leave without those fancy foods but I have those native foods.Ive rather to eat those kinds of food than eating foods that has lots of chemicals and persivatives added ,counterpart not like totally I don't like those foods found in fancy restaurants but for me I've rather to eat native foods than eating modern foods .
After class I immediately go home to do my household chores that is my everyday scenario since Iam just leaving with my ate and kuya's house in return of their good deads to me I must work or do household chores for me also to help them.
Since my ate and kuya are not yet home from work so automatically Iam incharged to cooked food for our dinner so that when they come home the dinner is ready .
I don't have any idea what to cooked and prepare this time ,until decided to go outside to looked around and see what should I do for our dinner or what to cooked.I roam around to our backyard, I see a lot of green leaves that can be eaten,with my brilliant head I know what type of food I will prepare for our dinner.
Horseradish fresh from our backyard yes you heard it right.In English word we call this ( horseradish) in visayan word we call this ( malunggay) in bisaya word we call this( kalamungay).
I immediately pic some branches of leaves of malunggay as you can see the leaves are so fresh and green and it is very healthy .Iam enjoying picking those healthy branches of leaves of the horse radish,I am so excited to cooked this one for our dinner .
I realized that it will be more tasty and yummy if I will add something atleast another ingredients that would add more tastier .
Glad that I found sweetcorn in the fridge so I think it would be the best combination for our dinner I also add some tomatoes and onion leaves to add aroma.
After I gathered all the ingredients
I started to clean the malunggay from the branches of course we only need the leaves of malunggay so we have to gently remove the leaves out from the branches and we must make it sure that there are no insects at the back of the leaves
,also in doing this hold the leaves very light so that the leaves won't damage because if that happen the taste of malunggay will change it become bitter like a taste of bitter melon or in our language we call it ' ampalaya',and we can't let that happen.
To have another taste I put another ingredients the' sweet corn' in my mind if I will mixed this two my malunggay soup will taste delicious.Sweet corn has rich in vitamins also and the taste of it is sweet so that means it adds sweets to my malunggay soup .
After I've done preparing my ingredients of course we boil water in a casserole.When the water is boiling we will put the sweet corn that is cut into half and let it boil until you smell the sweet and natural aroma of the sweet corn,wait it until it's ok for adding and mixing the horseradish in a boiling water with sweetcorns.
Mixed it with other seasonings to add taste for our soup like magic sarap,salts.Wait for 1 minutes to fully cooked the malunggay leaves and sweet corn and then you can turn of the fire and ready to serve.
Olahhhhh our malunggay and sweetcorn soup is ready to serve and it is good to pared with some rice to make it more tastier and have a happy tummy for dinner.

Oh, that's new, I only had corn soup but not the sweet one, yong puti ba. I'm curious with the sweet corn on it. And with Malunggay, that's super healthy talaga. 😂
