Hello, Hive Foodies! Cup-bearer is back for a new pasta dish. It's been a while since I became so busy at work. Let me share with you today one of the ways that could release my stress: cooking and eating. LOLZ
Last few weeks, my co-teacher, Almira, brought penne pasta to school. She wants me to cook it using my own recipe. It would be my first time cooking penne pasta. I just thought about how I should cook it. I then asked my other co-teachers, Emily and JCV, to buy some unsalted butter and cheese. I also brought my extra evaporated milk from home.
So, here are the ingredients.
Ingredients for Creamy Garlic Penne:
Penne pasta, 500 g
Garlic 1 bulb
Evaporated milk, 2 cans
Unsalted butter 100 g
Cheese 80 g
I only used the available ingredients. I was supposed to add ground pork, but since the people were busy working, no one was able to go to the market to purchase it. There was no canned tuna available too, so I just continued the cooking without it. I checked the expiration dates of the ingredients before I started the preparation.
Let's start the cooking of the creamy garlic penne.
First step:
Boil water as mentioned in the cooking guide for the penne pasta. Cook the penne pasta for 9 to 12 minutes. In my case, I cooked it for 9 minutes.
Second step:
Mince the garlic.
Third step:
Melt the 100 g portion of the butter in a pot and add the minced garlic.
Fourth step:
Pour the evaporated milk.
Fifth step:
Add the cooked pasta.
Sixth step:
Add grated cheese. I only added half of the 160 g cheese.
I mixed it well after adding the grated cheese.
Seventh step:
Serve.
I thought my co-teachers would not love to taste it. But when I told them that it's already cooked, they immediately grabbed their portion and loved the result.
It made me feel happy and satisfied, and of course, it relieved our stress from the overlapping activities done in school.
I hope you like this simple recipe too. Thank you for reading, and till next time, foodies. 🫶

It looks co creamy! Sad walang porky no. Still, if the people enjoy it then all is good. Uwu

That's one of my favorite ways of making creamy penne although sometimes I added cornflour to add more texture to it 😁
I'll try to add some next time. Thanks for the info. 😊 I was not used to cooking white pasta dishes, but after I made this one, I wanted to explore more recipes.
Have you tried aglio olio? It's one of the easiest but delicious pasta you'll ever make. Oh and there's Scampi as well that has shrimp on it.
I love shrimps, but I have allergies. I'll try that aglio olio this coming holidays. It looks delicious too.
