Hello, friends especially foodies!
On Tuesday mom picked me up after I got off from work and we went to one of the nearest plaza from our place. Yes this plaza was still under renovation like before and they still closed earlier than the other plazas, but we had no other choices, it was the nearest one and we also needed to go to the ATM also that day. So there we were. We didn't want to wait for a long time for our dinner's preparation and good thing, there was a popular Japanese Bento restaurant there, and another good thing we came at the restaurant before other customers came for the dinner.
The Restaurant’s Outlook
Here how the restaurant looked from the outside
You could see that the restaurant itself was quite large.
The Menu
Inside the restaurant we ordered based on the menus that they had. There they sold bentos. Of course it had many kind of dishes like chicken/beef teriyaki or chicken/beef yakiniku. And also they had some other side dishes like ekkado, ebi furai, fried chickens (newest product of them), et cetera…. Mom ordered the package with chicken katsu and for that the waitress said it would take around 4 minutes. Ok, we would wait if it was just 4 minutes. The waitress then took what we ordered. Mom ordered the premium beef set while me the premium seafood set. Even the names were so different but the different between ours was actually just about the side dishes of our bentos.
The Price
Time to pay, there we paid first before eating, mom’s was 61K IDR while mine was 59K IDR so the total price was 120K or around 8.4 USD.
The Dining Area
This restaurant had a large, clean and neat dining area with the washing hand area.

So lucky that there were not many people near us that day.
The Food & The Look
There we needed to take our trays to our table by ourselves but the waitress was new and she put too much soup on our bowls so mom asked her to deliver one tray for us. And here was our dinner
That day mom’s katsu came very late, it came after mom asked (bad service, huh), and it came 15 minutes after we ordered, it was when we were almost finished our dinner. It wasn’t quick anymore, right? They also didn’t dry the katsu before gave it to us, so it had much oil under it.
The Taste & The Flavour
Now it’s time to talk about the flavour of the dishes we had..
Mom ordered the premium beef set, it contained a portion of rice, beef yakiniku (based on our request), chicken katsu (came really late), salad, soup and iced ocha. I ordered the premium seafood set, it contained a portion of rice, beef yakiniku (based on our request), with some fried side dishes like shrimp roll, ekkado and ebi furai.
So the dishes we had were:
Beef Yakiniku
One of the best sold there, they had tasty savory beef slices. Soft and no fat, it stirred with onion and paprika with their special yakiniku sauce. Tasty!
Chicken Katsu
Served late but it didn’t mean it was less tastier than it is usually. Still hot when it delivered, it had soft chicken inside and crunchy deep fried skin. Delicious (even a bit oily)!
Shrimp roll, Ekkado, and Ebi Furai
Shrimp roll had processed shrimp meat and omelette filling like on the picture. It had savory flavour with a medium texture of hardness.
Ekkado had really crunchy skin (like dumplings), with the egg and meat filling. It was tasty in savory.
My favorite was ebi furai, with real shrimp inside, it had savory crunchy outer skin with soft savory real shrimp inside. Delicious!
Salad
They also gave salad on our packages which was fresh and served with their authentic mayonnaise dressing.
On our packages, it also included ocha. But unfortunately they put many ice cubes in it.
