Hello, friends especially foodies!
Recently mommy take me to a place where she said had tasty dimsum with nice place and of course still affordable price. We went there for the lunch and that day we didn't have any rice, only dimsum...
When we reached the restaurant it was almost 1 pm and after we had parked the car (lucky to finally got it) we straightly went to the restaurant. It named Foo Heng, Hongkong dimsum shop.
Inside mommy met the waitress so we could get our seats. The waitress then let us to take our seats, wherever we wanted.
The dining area that they had was large, with some soft sofas and chairs.
You could see that it had airy space with high ceiling and also a chandelier. Luxurious and comfy would be described their dining area well.
For the menu, the steamed dimsum that they had were singapore bakcang, pork and shrimp shewmay, steamed pork rib, black pepper chicken feet, hakau, pork meatball, lo mai kai, chasiew bao, beancurd with shrimp, chicken pie with pork sausage, pork pie, caipo turnip cake, salted egg bao, thailand pong tofu and mantau.
Now, the fried dimsum that they had were fried wonton, onion fried pork, beancurd springroll, fried pong tofu, mayonnaise shrimp dumpling, chicken springrolls, chasiew crispy bao, chasiew roasted bao, fried pork meatball, filling cakwe, and fried mantau.
Beside dimsum, they also had some other menus like many kind of noodles..
They also had Peking duck, roasted duck, roasted chicken, special mala noodle, crispy roasted pork belly, chasiew pork barbeque, szechuan steamed chicken, fried pork feet, kind of barbeque rice, steamed rice, steamed cheong fun, and soup dishes.
For the drink, not many choices you could get, they only offered tea, mineral water, soft drink, some kind of juice, beer and some kind of Chinese tea.
The dimsum that we ordered came one by one, the first one was one of the best and it couldn't be find in their menu. It named crispy yam dumpling.
Tasty and crispy but soft in the outside. The fried skin was like hair. It had pork filling with yam as the skin. The pork had tasty savory flavour while the yam gave a bit sweet flavour. Served warm it was one of the best i have ever tasted! Plus i also had it with the dried chili oil, which brought some spiciness to it, perfect combination!
Then we also had their steamed shewmay.
The steamed shewmay they had were also perfect. It had thin skin, a very thin one, with lots of meat inside. The meat it had contained pork and shrimp. The flavour of them were savory and really tasty. The texture of the meat was soft and smooth. It was totally delicious.
Next, we also had steamed chasiew bao for our lunch.
The steamed buns were soft and smooth. It had tasty chasiew barbeque pork as its' filling which had sweet and a bit savory flavour. Yes, it was also a good choice to have it too.
We also still got steamed hakau.
Hakau is actually steamed shrimp dumpling with transparant skin. Tasty and it had shrimp natural sweet flavour. Well, somehow they also could serve tasty hakau.
Then, they delivered steamed pork meatballs to our table.
The balls had chewy soft texture. It made of pork. It had savory flavour and the menu was also not failed.
Plus we also still had their black pepper chicken feet
Last, we also had their chicken feet which had soft a bit chewy texture. It had a bit spicy, sweet and savory flavour.
Well i don't know about the price cause mommy didn't let me to pay for it...............
And overall the menu that this dimsum restaurant offered were all delicious and tasty. I recommend you to try their super dimsum!
