Hello, friends especially foodies!

Last Monday was a public holiday, so accompanied with a friend, i went to PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk) area. When we went there it was almost 3PM. The sun shone brightly and the weather was good. PIK is an area near the ocean, so it has beach too. We had read about the Land's end area before, one of their beach so we planned to go there.

We took a bus to go there, from Harmoni station and lucky for us we got the chairs at the back of the bus. Not a long time after we sat, many other people rode the bus that they needed to stand up because no other empty chairs left.

Arrived to the PIK area, we needed to get the Buddha Tzu Chi station then wait for the free bus to Land's End.

But after waiting for 15 minutes, it hadn' arrived yet so we decided to get the online cab.

Arrived at the Land's End area, you could enter it without paying anything. And there you could take some photos, like i did..

First at the light house.

Then at the beach.

Anyway the beach had beautiful white sand and it had some restaurants in the area.

20240916_164635.jpg

You could also take a photo like i did, near the gate.

20240916_165620.jpg

Honestly the place is good to have some pictures, but unfortunately the area is not large so the photo spots are limited plus it is always crowded.

After strolling around and taking some pictures, we then went to one of the newest restaurant in the area. Opened 6 months ago, this restaurant named SRASI (it means matching in english).

Here was the gate to the restaurant.

20240916_170638.jpg

And because lots of customer wanted to eat there, even it was still 5 pm something, we needed to be put in their waiting list. So we waited there until they call us to be seated.

At front near the gate, you could see some of their special menu on a poster.

20240916_170911.jpg

And of course you could also look at their full menu too.

20240916_171021.jpg

Lucky for us, not many interested to have dine in at their indoor area.. so a waitress called us only after around 15 minutes of waiting. She then told us for weekend and public holiday we only could spend maximum 2 hours to dine in there.

Inside, at the first floor, they had the outdoor dining area.

20240916_170816.jpg

With wooden floor and ceiling, some hanging lamps and ceiling fans, wooden sofas plus rattan chairs, i thought they brought the tropical vibe in their dining area. Well their interior would make you want to stay there more. The dining area was clean and neat too. What a nice place to hang out.

It even became prettier at night. Here was when we finished our dinner and took a photo of the dining area, before we left the restaurant that evening.

We needed to go upstair to reach their indoor dining area with their wooden floor stair.

Then you would find the opened gate to their indoor dining area.

Here was how it look from the inside.

They had rattan chairs and rattan hanging lights. The room was quite large and had large windows. It had air conditioner so it made you feel comfortable after the hot weather outside. I thought it was a luck for us to dine in there, instead at the outside.

Now let's talk about their menu..

Unfortunately not all the food and beverages were available that day because some were already sold out. They gave us the order receipt so we could know what menus that were available.

Not along time after we ordered the food and drink, the drinks were delivered. What we had that day were HOT LYCHEE TEA and NUTMEG SQUASH.

20240916_172940.jpg

For their HOT LYCHEE TEA, the taste of the tea was so lychee. It had full lychee aromatic and taste. Served hot, it had medium sweet flavour. It also had two lychees on the top.

20240916_173123.jpg

Now, their NUTMEG SQUASH.

20240916_172955.jpg

20240916_173223.jpg

It had sliced nutmeg in the bottom, syrup and soda plus ice cubes at the surface. Fresh in a hot day, it had sweet and soda flavour. The nutmeg slices were so thin so that it almost had no mass at all. Overall, both of the drinks made us satisfied.

Not a long time after the drink, my main course came with our snacks too. To have my main course, i waited for my friend's main course came too... That's why now i would like to talk about their snack that we ordered, FRIED CASSAVA.

20240916_173910.jpg

The fried cassava they brought to us was different from ordinary cassava. Not like how it looked, it was so soft but crunchy. It had light savory flavour and served with chili sauce which brought spicy, sour and sweet flavour to it. Both of us agree that it was so tasty, plus the portion was enough for two persons.

After waiting for another 20 minutes, finally my friend's main course came to our table too. Here were the main course we had that day..

20240916_175320.jpg

While i tried their KECOMBRANG SALTED FISH FRIED RICE, my friend tried their ULAM RICE. And here were the taste and flavour of them...

KECOMBRANG SALTED FISH FRIED RICE

20240916_173613.jpg

First i saw the fried rice, i amazed with the portion because it actually could be shared to 2 persons.

20240916_175750.jpg

The texture of the rice was perfect as fried rice. It had savory flavour with a bit sour flavour to give the freshness. It had toppings like tasty crunchy jambal roti salted fish, carrot, leak, and egg. At top, it had fried kecombrang flower too. They also gave fried chips as its' companion. Tasted just so so, i thought it wasn't the best fried rice i've ever had.

ULAM RICE

20240916_175250.jpg

Needed to wait for a long time for this menu, the rice with peanut on the top came along with fried egg which had light savory flavour, beef jerky which were soft and chewy and had medium sweet flavour, fried rice noodle which tasted light savory too plus fried chips.

20240916_175434.jpg

And it also accompanied with semur soup of potato and tofu. The taste of the potato and tofu were great because they absorbed the taste of semur soup which had ginger aromatic taste in sweet and savory flavour. Overall my friend like his main course, he said it was tasty.

The price of all that we had that day was 210,000 IDR or it was around 13.85 USD. I thought it was a fair price you get in that area plus the restaurant had quite tasty dishes and comfy dining area.
