Hello foodies lovers!
How are you guys?
I haven't posted in over a week. Did you guys miss my recipe? I'm sorry to you guys, I can't post the recipe because I'm busy with my work, I was sick a few days ago so I had to rest a lot. But don't worry because now I have a very interesting recipe. The name of the food is prekedel. Prekedel are savory, deep-fried mashed potatoes. Actually the recipe I'm going to share is a little different because I added corned beef as a mixture. Are you all curious about the recipe? Then I don't want to say much more, let's get straight to the recipe!
The Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 1 sachet corned beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon powdered broth
- Cooking oil
- Leeks
- 1 egg
Step 1
Boil water and then steam the potatoes for about 1 hour (This is the first time I tried this method, I usually fry the potatoes)
Step 2
After the potatoes are cooked, peel and mash until smooth.
Step 3
Add salt, powdered stock, corned beef and chopped scallions. Then stir until well blended.
Step 4
Grease your hands with a little oil so it doesn't stick and then shape the prekedel according to your taste.
Step 5
Break the eggs into a bowl and mix well.
Step 6
Dip the mashed potato into the egg and then fry it in the preheated cooking oil. Fry over medium heat so that the corned beef is cooked. Fry only as need, the rest can be stored in the refrigerator
Step 7
After the mashed potatoes are browned, remove and drain. Then serve on a plate.
How was that? Do yo interested in try it? I hope everyone like the recipe I share. I hope this recipe helps make it easier for you to cook. thank you for sharing the recipe, the Perkedel are delicious, suitable for eating directly and also eaten with rice :)
Perkedel was the first dish that I can cook ever. My grandma taught me. But it was years since the last time I cook or eat perkedel. Nice to see it again.
After years? That's too long 😂
Yeah, after years. I don't like cold perkedel, so I prefer to eat that at my home when my brother cooks that.
Ooo... okay! I see!
I like perkedel, usually i eat perkedel in soto, nasi uduk
Nice combination
This looks delicious
