Hola estimados Hivers espero hayan pasado un feliz fin de semana y se encuentren con muchas energías para el inicio de una nueva semana, les cuento que estuve de festejo el fin de semana, específicamente el día domingo que fue mi cumpleaños y para festejar nos fuimos a almorzar a la Casa Portuguesa, en realidad la Casa Portuguesa es un Club Social Luso Venezolano y que tiene sus instalaciones en el Municipio Mariño del estado Aragua, y en cuyos espacios se encuentra el restaurante Os Navegantes.

Este restaurante es el principal restaurante del Club, ya que existió solamente él desde inicios del club, luego con los años con el crecimiento del club se crearon otros restaurantes, pero mucho más pequeños, pero tampoco como las instalaciones del Os Navegantes, lo cual no está de más de decirlo son muy bonitas y acogedoras.

Así fue que arribamos al Club a eso de la 1,30 de la tarde, como era domingo, generalmente solemos almorzar un poco más tarde, porque es el hecho que también desayunamos más tarde.

This restaurant is the main restaurant of the Club, since it existed only it since the beginning of the club, then over the years with the growth of the club other restaurants were created, but much smaller, but not like the facilities of Os Navegantes, which is not superfluous to say they are very nice and cozy.

So it was that we arrived at the Club at about 1.30 in the afternoon, as it was Sunday, we usually have lunch a little later, because it is the fact that we also have breakfast later.

Cuando entramos al restaurante no damos cuenta que está bastante lleno, entonces allí nos aborda la persona encargada de recibir a los clientes para ubicarlos, donde nos manifiesta que debemos esperar para la mesa porque había otras personas por delante de nosotros, entonces miramos la barra y también estaba llena no había espacio para sentarse allí y esperar hasta que se desocupara la mesa, por lo cual decido salir un poco del restaurante.

Me vuelvo a meter al restaurante y en eso se desocupan unas sillas de la barra y allí nosotros nos sentamos para esperar que nos llamaran para l ubicación de la mesa, entonces allí en la barra pedimos unas cervezas para ir consumiendo mientras nos llamaban.

When we enter the restaurant we notice that it is quite full, then there we are approached by the person in charge of receiving customers to locate them, where she tells us that we must wait for the table because there were other people ahead of us, then we look at the bar and it was also full there was no room to sit there and wait until the table was vacated, so I decide to leave the restaurant a little bit.

I go back into the restaurant and then some chairs at the bar are vacated and there we sat down to wait to be called for the location of the table, then there at the bar we ordered some beers to consume while we were called.

Como a los 30 minutos nos llaman que ya nos tienen la mesa para nosotros, entonces nos cambiamos de sitio, allí el mesonero nos presenta la carta del menú, pero también nos indica que están los platos del día, estos platos del día por lo general no aparecen en el menú porque son preparaciones especiales que tienen para ese día, es decir generalmente son platos extras del menú.

Así que fuimos hasta donde se encontraban los chefandish y nos decantamos por una preparación que estaba allí y que tenía mucho tiempo, que no consumía como era el cordero, y esta preparación era un cordero al vino que la verdad se veía muy bien y provocativa, también que cuando uno pide a la carta generalmente tardan más porque viene la cuestión de la preparación, pero la verdad esos platos del día que suelen preparar en ese restaurante son muy buenos, ya que no es la primera vez que vamos allí y consumimos uno de estos.

So we went to where the chefandish were and we opted for a preparation that was there and that had a long time, I did not consume as was the lamb, and this preparation was a lamb in wine that the truth looked very good and provocative, also that when you order a la carte usually take longer because it comes the question of preparation, but the truth is that these dishes of the day that are usually prepared in that restaurant are very good, since it is not the first time we go there and consume one of these.

Cuando me trajeron el plato a la mesa pensé que no lo iba a consumir todo, puesto que me pareció un plato bastante completo, pero estaba tan exquisito ese cordero que la verdad que no los consumimos casi todo, muy buena preparación, además que uno sale de lo tradicional, como es el pollo, carne de res o pescado.

Por lo cual este día de mi cumpleaños comimos exquisitamente, y sobre todo un plato que no degustábamos hace bastante tiempo, valió la pena la espera cuando llegamos, pero que le puedo decir la atención en ese restaurante es muy buena.

When they brought the dish to the table I thought that I was not going to eat it all, since it seemed to me a very complete dish, but the lamb was so exquisite that the truth is that we do not eat almost all of it, very good preparation, besides that one leaves the traditional, such as chicken, beef or fish.

So this day of my birthday we ate exquisitely, and especially a dish that we had not tasted for a long time, it was worth the wait when we arrived, but I can tell you that the attention in that restaurant is very good.

No consumimos postre por varias razones, en primer lugar, quedamos demasiado llenos y segundo, como era mi cumpleaños, tenía una torta de selva negra que había preparado el día anterior en casa.

Es así, que recorrimos un poco las instalaciones del Club y nos dimos cuenta de que el área de la piscina estaba bastante frecuentada a pesar de que no había muchas personas dentro del agua, como se puede apreciar en las fotos, estas áreas son muy lindas, la verdad que cuando los hijos estaban pequeños las frecuentábamos mucho más a menudo, el Club está muy lindo y sus instalaciones muy bien cuidadas.

We did not eat dessert for several reasons, firstly, we were too full and secondly, as it was my birthday, I had a black forest cake that I had prepared the day before at home.

So, we went around the Club's facilities and we realized that the pool area was quite busy even though there were not many people in the water, as you can see in the pictures, these areas are very nice, the truth is that when our children were young we frequented them much more often, the Club is very nice and its facilities are very well maintained.
