MANGO TAPIOCA with Gulaman: Low Budget

in Foodies Bee Hive7 months ago

Hello, my beloved hivers! This is my new blog, which I want to share with you. Please bear with me. I made a mango tapioca with lots of gulaman for the first time since the weather is very hot.

It's the season of mangoes this month, which I always craved. And thankfully, my friend Kaye brought some to the boarding house.

We didn't have a face-to-face class last week, so I rushed home since I hadn't been home for almost a month. And Kaye gave me three mangoes since they have lots in their house. I think of something nice to do with the mangoes. I remembered the last time that I craved mango tapioca. I bought sago (tapioca) and gulaman because I don't have enough budget to buy some condensed milk and Nestle cream. I was really excited to try making new things, especially when it comes to food. Food is my remedy when I feel so down.

This is what you get if food is life to you.

Mango Tapioca is a dessert made of mango and sago. It can be very tasty especially when it's cold. This is a great way to lessen the hotness of the atmosphere and a good snacks for the family.

Budget: 229.00

Ingredients:

  • Three ripe Mangoes
  • 1/8 kilo of sago/tapioca
  • Two packs of unflavored gulaman powder
  • 2 condensed milk
  • 1 Nestle cream
  • Water

Procedure:

  • First, I cooked the sago in a pan until it was really smooth. I add water from time to time. I rinse it with clean water and put it in a strainer to take off the excess water. And put it in the refrigerator for awhile until everything is ready.

  • Next, I cooked the gulaman in the pan. I waited for a minute until the bubbles came out. I transferred it to the big container to let it cool and form well. After an hour of waiting, I sliced it into small pieces.

  • Then, I sliced the mangoes into small particles, like the gulaman size, and I transferred them into the big container.

  • And lastly, I mixed the gulaman, sago, mangoes, condensed milk, and Nestle cream. Mixed all the ingredients well. And put it in the refrigerator overnight.

I made a lot, so my mother told me that she'd bring some to my sister and my nephews. Me and my family enjoyed eating our home-made mango tapioca. It's delicious and mouth-watering. And I can say that "it's satisfying cravings.

Sometimes all we need is not a medicine, but a food that can take away our thirst in this hot weather. What are you waiting for? Make your own recipe and make your family happy by cooking something delicious. If you plan to have a food business, this is a good product to sell. It's a tested and proven super yummy dessert for everybody.

It is surely an advantage if you know how to cook. You can make what you crave anytime. Now, I'm also craving for it but I'm too lazy to go to the market. 😆
