Delightful fried food recipe

Hello lovers of @foodiesbeehive, welcome you all to my blog. Today am thrilled to share with us all an amazing fried Food recipe we all can enjoy with our families and friends.

Fried yam, potato and egg is another delightful way of enjoying a fried food recipe, It is so delicious and requires few minutes to put together when not preparing for a large house. Yam and potato is something my family loves a lot especially for breakfast because it is fast to prepare.

Fried yam, potato and egg can be prepared in diverse ways, you can either chose to use your air fryer to prepare your meal or either use the hot oil recipe which you will still get same result. Also one can decide to do chips with your potatoes or yam which means you would have to cut it in very thin slices. Chips are nice and crispy but I hardly do it cause they consume my time a lot so I rather go for the thick slices as seen in the pictures.

Potatoes falls under carbohydrate in the classes of food and a good source of energy. Potatoes are also considered a starchy Vegetables deliver much calories and less fibers too. They come indifferent varieties such as the red potatoes and yellow one like the one I used. Yam also falls under carbohydrate just like potatoes and are beneficial to man. They can be used for different purposes one of which is been fried for mans consumption and other ways of eating it.

Eggs; I definitely won't forget about egg which is one of the cheapest and easily gotten protein that does not require one break a bank before they can purchase it. Because the yam and potato are all carbohydrate, when eating I love paring mine with eggs to give a balance diet. Nonetheless, you can still pair this with tomatoes sauce it goes just well.

To get started with my fried yam, potatoes and egg food, these were the measures I did to put everything in place: Also note that ingredients and quantities used varies base on individual preferences.

*Yam (small size tuber)
*Potatoes (1 medium size )
*Salt, ( just a pinch for taste)
*Water (one cup for rinsing)
*Oil ( for frying) I used my leftover oil.

*Knife
*Plate

PROCEDURE

Firstly, I peeled off the skin of my tubers using a knife after which I cut my tubers into my desired shapes. So there's no definite shapes, just go for what you like.


After that was done, I poured in the water and washed well with my hands, drained out the water and sprinkled a pinch of salt and shake.

When that was done I put my oil on fire and allowed it to heat up well so my tubers doesn't soak up. When it was on the fire, after about a minute or two, I flipped to the other side to fry as well. When both sides where properly fried I remove from the hot oil.

For frying my eggs I broke an egg added seasoning, add a little oil to my pan and fry till golden brown. Our food is ready to be enjoyed.
