Hello friends,
This time I will make a snack that is delicious, quick, and easy to make: pancake.
This pancake is healthier than regular pancakes. What I mean by healthier is: using ingredients that are relatively better in nutrition. For example, I use oat flour and almond flour. Oat flour contains more fiber than wheat flour. Almond flour contains higher protein than wheat flour. I use olive oil which has lower saturated fat than butter.
These pancakes can be eaten with a variety of toppings. I use blueberries. Please use your favourite topping, just adjust it to your taste.
Here's the recipe:
Almond Oat Pancakes
Ingredients:
1 cup oat flour
1 cup almond flour
1 cup milk (I use oat milk)
2 eggs
2 tablespoons honey
2 tbsp olive oil
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
Method:
Mix in a bowl: oat flour, almonds, baking powder, a pinch of salt.
Add milk, honey, olive oil, eggs, mix well.
Heat the pan, when it is hot, reduce the heat, pour a large spoon of pancake batter
Wait for about 5 minutes (or until the bubbles set), flip the pancakes, cook for further 3 minutes or untul cooked.
Transfer pancakes to a rack
Pancakes are ready to serve
serve with a topping mixture of softcheese + icing sugar, mix well, add blueberries.

Well, I try. I like to eat snacks but I also want to maintain the nutritional intake 😃.
This is the perfect pancake I have seen. Actually, I never add honey and salt into the bowl to make pancakes but, I think it should be better if I do. The pancake is looking much better than I used to do. Next time I will try these two things put in to make pancakes in order to make it taste better and look organized as your pancake. Love to see what you share us.
Add a bit of salt to sweet food,and add a pinch of sugar to savoury food (balance the taste). This trick that my mom taught me. It is indeed balancing the taste, you will know what I mean when you try it and taste it yourself.
