Todos hemos comidos las fabulosas hamburguesas de McDonald's y quisiéramos que le coloquen una ración extra de pepinillos al igual que las papas fritas, no se si a ustedes le pasa pero a mi si 😅

We've all eaten the fabulous McDonald's hamburgers and wish they put an extra portion of pickles and fries, I don't know if it happens to you, but it does to me 😅

En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes esta receta que desde que la conocí no la dejo de hacerla, esta no es mas que los famosos pepinillos de McDonald's hechos en casa con ingredientes sencillos y que usualmente tenemos en nuestra cocina.

This time I want to share with you this recipe that I have been making ever since I learned about it. It is nothing more than the famous McDonald's pickles made at home with simple ingredients that we usually have in our kitchen.

INGREDIENTES:

  • 2 Pepinos
  • 1 Taza de vinagre blanco
  • 2 Tazas de agua
  • sal
  • 1 cda de azúcar

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 cups of water
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

MODO DE PREPARACIÓN

1: lavamos los pepinos y picamos en julianas, posteriormente a eso le agregamos abundante sal y mezclamos en un colador, lo hacemos en este recipiente porque tenemos que dejar que el pepino de deshidrate con la sal y mediante este proceso el pepino va soltando todo su liquido, esto se deja actuar por aproximadamente 4 horas.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

1: wash the cucumbers and chop into julienne strips, then add plenty of salt and mix in a colander, we do it in this container because we have to let the cucumber dehydrate with salt and through this process the cucumber is releasing all its liquid, this is left to act for about 4 hours.

2: luego de pasar las 4 horas lavamos el pepino con abundante agua, no te preocupes por la sal del pepino ya que en este punto el pepino ya a absorbido bastante de la sal.

2: after 4 hours wash the cucumber with plenty of water, do not worry about the salt of the cucumber because at this point the cucumber has already absorbed enough of the salt.

3: colocamos en una olla nuestros pepinos, junto con las 2 tazas de agua, 1 de vinagre blanco y las cucharadas de azúcar, posterior a eso colocamos al fuego y dejamos que cocine por unos 20min.

3: we put our cucumbers in a pot, together with 2 cups of water, 1 cup of white vinegar and the spoonfuls of sugar, after that we put it on the fire and let it cook for about 20 minutes.

4: al pasar los 20min de cocción, dejemos que este enfrié y envasamos en un contenemos de vidrio con tapa ( se guarda con la misma agua de la cocción), dejemos que se macere por 24 horas y esta listo para comer.

4: after 20 minutes of cooking, let it cool down and pack it in a glass container with a lid (it is kept with the same cooking water), let it macerate for 24 hours and it is ready to eat.
