My first time dining at Sunburst + Milk tea treat at Gong Cha 💞

Hello hivers, let me tell you how we manage to spend time with my friends despite being on different teams. We've made plans to treat each other once in a while, and we agreed to meet for lunch at Ayala yesterday. We had hoped to eat somewhere else, but time is limited for some, particularly @baninan. He must be punctual because he relies on the company's shuttle service, and commuting to Carcar City is inconvenient for him and will take a long time. While we waited for Kaye, we talked about where we wanted to eat. The restaurant I want to go to is not the same as what they want, so we made a compromise. We both agreed to choose Sunburst.

It was my first time dining with them, but it was @baninan, @prettyunicorn, and Kaye second or third. The place appears to be decent, and you have the option of staying inside or outside, as there are tables set up outside. The location is ideal for a family or group gathering.

When we arrived, the restaurant was not crowded; there were many empty tables. We choose a table for four people. They are busy although there are only a few people inside the restaurant because they accept orders online. It took about 2 minutes for them to hand us the menu.

Looking at the menu, it appears that there are very few options to choose from. The main course I want to order, the Grilled Tanigue, is not available at that time. I was disappointed, but what could I do? lol, We start deciding what to order and settle on Tanigue soup with limited fish but plenty of vegetables, sotanghon noodles, chopseuy, and double drumsticks for each of us.

I can't deny that the food they served was delicious. It tastes good, and the serving size is just right. We made the terrible mistake of ordering drinks before they served the food, and it appears that the waiter was perplexed because we were joking at the time. We want the cucumber drink, but they only give us iced tea. It's a good thing the waiter didn't give us a disappointed look because I've had that kind of treatment before. He immediately substituted cucumber juice for the ice tea. As we eat, we have the opportunity to discuss topics such as the hive, work, and everything in between.

We decided to get coffee or milk tea after we finished and were about to leave. 😉
We dashed from Dakasi to Bo's Coffee and then to Gong Cha.
This is my first visit to the milk tea shop. Yor paid for the milk tea on his own initiative (thank you).

Kaye can't decide what to get and after we are all settled on with our order while we wait we took some crazy photos and no one cares which is good. 😂😂

If you noticed there are only a few tables and 1 chair for each table. I remember the time I used to pass by this shop where they have tables for dining but during the pandemic, they decided to remove some and leave a few for people waiting for their order.

Finally, they handed us over our orders and we're happy though it took a little bit of time we were able to seize the moment (as if we don't see each other in the office lol). And that's how we headed back and strike another selfie before leaving.
