YAKINABE WITH JESSA 😘🖤❤

How are you all doing, hivers? This blog has been sitting in my drafts folder since January. You must have read it in one of @yzamazing's blogs or from her own experience with this place.

I was asking some of my friends for recommendations for places to dine when TM Ishi told me about a new and just established Unli Samgyupsal in Ayala called Yakinabe. I suggested that we dine there with the rest of the team, and that is the plan. After I returned from my vacation, Jessa messaged me and asked if we could go on a date because we hadn't seen each other since the holidays, and I replied okay.

She wanted to try a new restaurant, and since we planned to meet in Ayala, I informed her about this one, and she approved. However, on the day we were supposed to meet, she had a prior commitment, so I waited for her. While I waited, I went around the area and check the restaurant, and it appears to be full. So I put my name down for a reservation. We walked to the third floor, where the restaurant is located, after waiting for Jessa for 30 minutes. We were fortunate in that there are quite a few spots available. We found a spot but we were sitting at a table that was a little distant from the food. lol

I assumed it was solely Unli Samgyupsal, but we were surprised to find some Filipino food as well. I was happy to find out that there was Lechon and some seafood options on the table. I was also astounded by the variety of sushi flavors on the table. This place is not your typical Unli Samgyupsal place. This restaurant offers self-service, which is undoubtedly the best option. Some places or restaurants occasionally serve meat and have to wait until they serve it, but at this location, you can get as much meat as you'd like. They have a fridge inside where you can just get anything from the selection of cheese, pork, chicken, and beef.

There are some vegetable corners to choose from, as well as many other options. They have an ice cream and dessert area where you can get as much dessert as you want, and I enjoy their dessert since it is not overly sweet. They have a separate fridge where you may get various types of seafood and squid balls, as well as a salmon head.

We had a great time eating, and our tummies were delighted as well. And we never felt bad about paying 799 pesos ($14.68 USD).
