It was a week ago when I noticed a long queue at this stall. A glance gave me the idea that they were selling Briyani. There is no menu and no price tag displayed. All I can see is the banner on top of their stall. I thought that it was just one of the regular Briyani shops, but I was wrong 😑. It’s a famous place so they don’t even need a menu or price displayed on their shop. It was so cool 😎.
I ordered Chicken Briyani and I handed a S$10. I received a S$2.50 change, surprised 😮. It only costs S$7.50 which is a good price.
The guy handed me the plate full of Basmati rice with the chicken hiding under it. Shocked! I thought I was going to drop the plate because I wasn’t expecting it to weigh as heavy as 3 to 4 KG?? 😅
No wonder, I was served with 2 big cuts of chicken. Worth it!
The Basmati rice is perfectly cooked and seasoned. It has the right amount of moisture.
No wonder, they sell out easily. It’s delicious. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce is generously served.
Hard-boiled egg? What a treat! I wonder how they made the price so low while providing a massive amount of serving…
I think one of the reasons is that it’s a family-run business. I’m assuming at this point but with the way they work, it looks like they’ve been doing this for a long time. And they are doing it like a family.
It was already 1:00 PM and yet there’s still a queue.
I’ll come back for more and try the mutton briyani as well. 🍻
