Ya estamos en la temporadas de mangos aquí en el terreno, hay que bajar los mangos para hacer jugos, ceviches y mucho dulce! Les quiero compartir una preparación un poquito diferente a la tradicional y criolla jalea de mango, con un resultado sabroso.

Preparar la jalea es muy sencillo, los ingredientes fáciles de adquirir; necesitamos agua, mangos maduros y pintones, azúcar, vainilla. En ésta preparación no puede faltan como herramientas una o dos ollas para hervir, una cocina con mucho gas o un fogón, batidora, y envases.
Preparing the jelly is very simple, the ingredients easy to acquire; we need water, ripe and pinton mangoes, sugar, vanilla. In this preparation, one or two pots to boil, a stove with a lot of gas or a stove, mixer, and containers cannot be missing as tools.
Lo primero que hacemos es bajar los mangos del árbol, la cantidad que querramos, mejor si son pintones (no muy maduros) pero puedes lugar maduros con esos sin problema...

Hay que pelarlos, quitarles la concha.

Después de dejarlos que se enfríen procedemos a sacarle la pulpa con ayuda de una cucharilla.

Vamos a tratar de que la pulpa no tenga mucha hilacha, si tiene, tratemos de colar lo que podamos... Procedemos a aplastar y unificar todo.

Vamos a pasar el dulce a un sartén con azúcar y mezclamos, luego lo sacamos hasta un bowl.

Batimos la mezcla de la pulpa con el azúcar, incorporamos vainilla al gusto hasta que enfríe y su consistencia sea mas suave.

Servimos el dulce en pequeños vasos o envases para comer cuando deseemos, refrigeramos.
