Hi friends, today I want to share with you the recipe for this delicious dessert that I usually make for my children and they love it, it has few ingredients and is easy to prepare.
Homemade Churros
We will need the following ingredients:
- 250 ml of water
- 300 grams of wheat flour
- 50 grams of butter
- 10 grams of salt
- oil for frying
We start by placing the water and butter in a pot and put it over low heat, when the water starts to boil we add the salt and flour, we start mixing and kneading, until we have a homogeneous dough, without lumps.
When the dough is ready we put it in a pastry bag, or as in my case, in a churro dispenser which is ideal for the churros to be perfect and good size. Take into consideration the size of the pan to know how long to cut the churros.
Once you have the churros ready, it's time to fry them, make sure you have the oil already hot and keep an eye on them because they cook very fast, if you get distracted just for a moment, they can burn.
When they are golden brown, they are ready. Remove them from the heat and let them cool.
You can cover them with the syrup of your choice: chocolate, arequipe, strawberry, etc. As we were going to serve them with a cup of hot chocolate, we just sprinkled them with powdered sugar.

Hola amigos, hoy quiero les quiero compartir la receta de un delicioso postre que suelo hacerle a mis hijos y les encanta, tiene pocos ingredientes y es fácil de preparar.
Churros Caseros
Necesitaremos los siguientes ingredientes:
- 250 ml de agua
- 300 gramos de harina de trigo
- 50 gramos de mantequilla
- 10 gramos de sal
- aceite para freir
Comenzamos colocando el agua y la mantequilla en una olla y la ponemos a fuego lento, cuando el agua empieza a hervir agregamos la sal y la harina, empezamos a mezclar y amasar, hasta que tengamos una masa homogénea, sin grumos.
Cuando la masa esté lista la ponemos en una manga pastelera, o como en mi caso, en un dispensador de churros que es ideal para que los churros queden perfectos y de buen tamaño. Tenga en cuenta el tamaño del sartén para saber de que largo cortar los churros.
Una vez tenga los churros listos, es momento de freirlos, asegurese de tener el aceite ya caliente y esté pendiente de ellos porque se cocinan muy rápido, si te distraes solo por un momento, se pueden quemar.
Cuando estén de un buen tono dorado, ya están listos. Retíralos del fuego y déjalos enfriar.
Puedes bañarlos con el sirope de tu preferencia: chocolate, arequipe, fresa, etc. Como nosotros los íbamos a acompañar con una taza de chocolate caliente solo los rociamos con azúcar glass.
