(Eng - Ind) Pineapple Pacri - Fresh dish for fighting fat

Is Pacri Pineapple, Malay Typical Cuisine that is very easy to find in areas with Malay culture, one of which is in my area, Aceh, usually this cuisine is served during certain events such as marriage and other events. The appearance of Pacri Pineapple is quite unique and different from other pineapple processed. At first glance, it is similar to curry or meat curry. The color is reddish brown with a fragrant distinctive curry. Pineapple is large cut as desired.

Adalah pacri nanas, masakan khas Melayu yang sangat mudah ditemukan di daerah-daerah dengan kultur Melayu, salah satunya di daerah saya yaitu Aceh, biasanya masakan ini disajikan pada saat acara tertentu seperti acara perkawinan dan lainnya. Tampilan pacri nanas cukup unik dan berbeda dari olahan nanas lain. Sekilas, memang mirip seperti kari atau gulai daging. Warnanya coklat kemerahan dengan wangi khas kari yang harum. Nanas dipotong besar sesuai keinginan.

The first time you try, maybe the pineapple texture is very different from what you estimated. Pineapple is still quite crunchy with a fairly refreshing water content. There is a little taste of fresh acid, but it doesn't cover the savory taste and favors the spices. The combination of the taste that makes this Pacri feel so delicious. In addition to the taste of sour and savory, there is also sweet from spices and a little spicy flavor of fine chili in it. Fragrant curry feels sharply combined with fresh pineapple fragrance which turned out to be left behind.

Saat pertama kali Anda mencoba, mungkin tekstur nanas tersebut sangat berbeda dari yang Anda diperkirakan. Nanas masih cukup renyah dengan kandungan air yang cukup menyegarkan. Besides having a delicious and fresh taste, pineapple pacri can also be an antidote to fatty foods. So don't be surprised if pineapple pacri is often served side by side with other fatty dishes such as rendang, goat curry, mutton satay, nasi lemak or kebuli rice.

Selain memiliki rasa yang enak dan segar, pacri nanas juga dapat menjadi penawar makanan yang berlemak. Makanya jangan heran jika pacri nanas seringkali disajikan berdampingan dengan masakan berlemak lainnya seperti rendang, gulai kambing, sate kambing, nasi lemak atau nasi kebuli.

Main ingredients :

  • 1 ripe pineapple seed (cut into 2 pieces, separate from the bone and slice about 2x2 cm)
  • 15 pieces of curly red chilies
  • 1 piece of brown sugar (thinly sliced)
  • Salt to taste
  • 250 ml boiled water
  • Cooking oil 2 tbsp
  • 4 seeds cloves
  • Cardamom 2 grains
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Kembang lawang 2 seeds

Bahan-bahan utama :
Nanas matang 1 biji (belah menjadi 2 bagian, pisahkan dari tulangnya dan iris-iris sekitar 2x2 cm)
Cabai merah keriting 15 buah
Gula merah 1 buah (iris tipis)
Garam secukupnya
Air matang 250 ml
Minyak goreng 2 sdm
Cengkeh 4 biji
Kapulaga 2 butir
Kayu manis 1 batang
Kembang lawang 2 biji

Steps to make Pineapple Pacri :

  • Prepare a frying pan and heat cooking oil
  • Saute the spices that have been mashed until they smell
  • Enter the chopped pineapple
  • Add the water that has been provided
  • Add salt, brown sugar, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and cloves
  • Stir until evenly distributed while trying, the spices are already tasted or not
    If so, it's ready to be served.

Langkah-langkah membuat pajri nanas :
Siapkan wajan dan panaskan minyak goreng
Tumis bumbu yang telah dihaluskan hingga tercium aromanya.
Masukkan nanas yang telah di potong-potong tadi.
Tambahkan air yang sudah disediakan.
Masukkan garam, gula merah, cengkeh, kapulaga, kayumanis dan kembang lawang
Aduk-aduk hingga merata sambil dicoba, bumbu sudah terasa atau belum.
Jika sudah, siap disajikan.

Tips for choosing pineapples :
Choose pineapples that are of good quality, have thick flesh and are large in size. Clean the eyes until there is absolutely nothing left. It will be even better if the pineapple is still half cooked so that it is not so mushy after cooking

Tips memilih nenas :
Pilihlah nanas yang berkualitas baik, mempunyai daging yang tebal dan berukuran besar. Bersihkan matanya hingga benar-benar tak tersisa. Akan lebih enak lagi jika nanasnya masih setengah matang agar setelah dimasak tidak begitu lembek.
