So the birthday celebration did not stop at my previous post. We had another round of celebration with my female comrades whom we used to work together with in church.
It was a night with so much delicious food! I seriously felt this place served one of the best Balinese food in our city!
The birthday girl @iamjadeline suggested to dine at Ole-Ole Bali as she has tried and knows the food is nice!
I had been to one of their branches many many years ago before I was married. I remember the portion being big but could not remember its taste. Now that we have an outlet near us in this mall called KL East Mall, it is a great choice!
Hmm...
Let's start with the food!
I ordered this Grilled Lamb Chop after contemplating really long because I was worried it may be a bit tough if it is not cooked properly. But so glad it did not disappoint. It came a bit medium rare which is the way I love it and it was delicious! And I was simply amused by the size of the watermelon and the sourish appetizing salad was simply another level. Love it so much.

A friend ordered their nasi campur, which is their mixed rice with lamb. It came as a big platter with rice, vegetables and generous amount of lamb.
Another friend ordered 2 things as she could not decide on what she wanted to have. So she ended up order a sup buntut which is a type of spiced soup served with some pieces of compressed rice.
The same friend also ordered grilled mixed seafood, which came with fish, squid and some prawns as well as some fries. The fish was simply delicious.
Look at her face to find out much food she ordered. Hahaha.
One of us also ordered this pasta with fish. It is not the usual pasta we know as the taste is Balinese and more Malay-ish. Nevertheless, it tasted good.
Last but not least, the birthday girl @iamjadeline ordered nasi campur with fried chicken. She wanted something with fish but they just didn't serve fried fish that evening. I guess the chicken was overall okay except for the chicken breast which was a bit too dry.
We ordered a sharing dish called Cumi-cumi that has wedges and fried squid.
As for drinks, we ordered some smoothie, mocktails and an avocado coffee.
Would like to share with you the variety of food they have on their menu.
We ate till super full and we were very satisfied with the food. Besides their food, I would like to boast of their ambience too. It is a restaurant that is decorated with much efforts with a few swings and decorations to make us feel like we were really in Bali. Let my pictures do the talking for me then you will know what I meant.
Besides that it has a fantastic view outside their windows too.
Many wooden ornaments right? They tried to really incorporate the Balinese culture into the restaurant.

I did not rate 5 stars for comfort because when we entered, there was something wrong with the centralised air-conditioner and the table we were assigned to had the sun glaring at us. It did improve after the sun set.
Pleasant Evening with the Ladies
*We had a good time catching up with one another as most of us are mothers who usually have children tagging along us for meals. But tonight we took a break to enjoy some adults time and not needing to take care of the children'seating, especially for the birthday girl, my sister-in-law. We do this only when one of our birthdays come so we can have quality time together. It was indeed quality few hours spent.
So finally before we left, we asked the birthday girl to take a photo with this swing!
Oww I all that food look do delicious. Especially the mixed sea food... where I come from, we don't joke with sea food. I'm glad you guys were able to enjoy yourselves away from the children and you don't have to wait until birthdays, you guys can just pick a date to spend time together and have fun. Thank you for sharing those delicious and pretty photos. Ole-Ole Bali is sure a nice place.
