My Burger Lab is a famous burger joint in Malaysia and it is fast growing. My husband and his brother know their owners because they used to be active in the burger business too.
Knowing their brand for so long and seeing them opening one by one in malls, this was actually my first round patronizing them!
Finally ordering from their menu! I picked my sister up after she arrived from the airport and then it was raining cats and dogs so we decided to go into a mall. Of course everyone had the same thinking as us so we took a long time to find parking.
Then we bumped into a church friend who kindly told us that kids eat for free in My Burger Lab! Oh yes that will be the perfect dinner choice then!
Upon reaching, the staff told us to entitle for the free kids meals, we need to download their app and order at the counter despite them having their kiosk counter for us to self order.
Hence we sat my boys down and battled through the bad internet connection, which my sister finally managed to download the app and logged in.
Finally, we could queue at the counter to order though the queue also took us a while.
My sister queued while I checked out the other parts of the eatery.
Here is the sauces and condiments station. Oooh I so love their O' Porto sauce and pickled onions! Their pickled cucumber has a slightly spicy tinge which is unusual, because it is usually sour.
There are a lot of interesting posters all around too.
Upon ordering, we were given the receipt and also a device to alert us to self- collect our orders when they are ready.
If you look at our invoice closely, you will notice that with 2 adults sets, we are entitled to get 2 free kids meals! The original price of kids' meals is Rm20.50 per set but look at how we were billed at RM0.00! Hooray!
The tables arrangments are just very simple and straightforward, nothing too fancy which is good enough. They let their food speak for the brand.
Soon, our food arrived which are a total of 4 sets of burgers with their side dishes!!!
The kids meals are served in kids-friendly food tray of dinosaur motive and it comes with either a beef or chicken burger with 3 pcs of nuggets and very good fries.
My boys chomped them down. They managed to finish one burger but we were too full so we ended up packing another burger back for the husband. The chicken burger wow-ed us as it comes with a very succulent piece of fried chicken which is tender on the inside but crispy on the outside.

Now to the burger I ordered! It is called Jammin' with Elvis!!! It has very very interesting combination of flavours as it has peanut butter, blueberry jam and onion relish as well in the burger with a beef patty. So it is savory sweet, I loved it!!!! I chose mashed potatoes to go with my set, as suggested by the husband who tried before. It wasn't any ordinary mashed potato from premix but it tasted really good.
My sister ordered their Moo-shroom which is a combination of mushrooms and beef patty. It was very very flavourful too and she paired it with nachos with a special appetizing coriander dip!
Are we coming back again for more? Oh definitely! There are a whole list of burgers on the menu to slowly try!
Most of all, I am happy to see my sister who also helped my mum to bring me lots of goodies for my upcoming confinement. It is good to see a afamily member and what more the one whom everyone say look most similar to me, my 14-years- apart "twin"!
She brought me a basket full of my mum's love too! ❤️
