Greetings to everyone! Today, I would like to share another recipe that we usually cooked in our house. This is a ginataang tilapia in Tagalog while in English it's fried tilapia with coconut milk.
I really loved this dished because I don't experienced to eat this dish when I was young as far as I remember. I grew up eating tilapia in a way of grilled or fried only.
The dish with coconut milk in the Philippines is very common specially in the province. There is a lot of coconut tree here. Anything you cook with coconut milk are delicious. It's like a magic potion in your food. So let's get started!

Ingredients
🔸3 pieces of tilapia
🔸1 pack of coconut milk
🔸3 cloves of garlic
🔸1 piece of red onion
🔸1 piece of tomato
🔸1 thumbs of ginger
🔸2 green chili peppers
🔸2 pieces of eggplant
Instructions
1️⃣ Deep fry the tilapia and then set aside.
2️⃣ Heat the pan with oil.
3️⃣ Saute the onion, tomato, ginger and garlic.
4️⃣ Add the coconut milk also green chili peppers with ground black pepper in the pot and then let it boil.
5️⃣ Put the tilapia in the pot. Add salt and cover the pot. Cook for 10 minutes.
6️⃣ Add the eggplant and cover the pot again wait for 15 minutes.
7️⃣ After that you may now transfer it in a clean serving plate.
Notes: You can add a green leafy vegetables to add more color on the food and you can use the fresh coconut milk from the market. If you can't find one, you try the commercialized coconut milk.
