Hello friends
This is my first time posting my content here, and I hope you'll enjoy it. I also hope to do it in the best way possible, although I'm not a master chef in the kitchen. Due to work-related reasons, I had to live away from home for quite some time, and that's how I learned to cook.
Today, I'll introduce you to a typical Italian recipe: a simple pasta dish with zucchini and tuna. In this post, I'll show you how to prepare this dish in a straightforward manner. It's not only delicious but also provides a good source of energy for the entire day.
Let's start with the ingredients:
Ingredients:
- 150 grams of pasta (I use homemade pasta)
- Tomatoes
- Zucchini (as much as you like)
- Olive oil (as needed)
- Salt (as needed)
- Half an onion
- Vegetable bouillon cube
- Grana Padano cheese
- Canned tuna
Instructions:
- Begin by finely chopping the onion. The finer you chop it, the better it is for cooking. Then, take a deep frying pan and add a bit of extra virgin olive oil (you can use other oils as well). Add the chopped onion and finely chopped zucchini to expedite the cooking process. Sauté everything together.
- While the zucchini and onion are sautéing, prepare the tomato sauce using fresh tomatoes. You can use a blender to puree the tomatoes. You can also add some oregano according to your taste.
- Add the tomato sauce you prepared to the sautéed zucchini and onion. Add some water and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the pasta. I keep my pasta in the freezer so it's ready to use. I make large quantities of it when I prepare it.
- In the pasta mixture, add a vegetable bouillon cube. I prepare my own bouillon cube by drying various vegetables in the summer. Then, add the pasta. You can also cook the pasta separately in a pot of water, but in this case, I utilized the water from the sauce. Fresh pasta cooks much faster.
- Finally, take the canned tuna (or fresh tuna if available) and add it to the pasta and sauce. Continue to cook it slowly for a couple of minutes. When the pasta is ready, you can serve it in a deep plate.
- Add some excellent cheese of your choice, but if possible, use Grana Padano cheese with at least 24 months of aging.
In my opinion, this is a very simple and quick recipe to prepare, and it's also very healthy because it contains fish and vegetables. I hope you enjoyed my recipe, and I hope to have the opportunity to share more of my daily recipes here.
A big hug, and see you soon!

That's a wonderful elaborate recipe. Thanx for sharing. I do make Pastas but not very often, it is like once in 6 months, and it's good to have an authentic recipe.
I would like to share other recipes too but I can never take photos. Thanks for your comment
