There is a new famous 'nasi lemak' stall just open at my vicinity. I had been wanting to try since my husband said it is delicious. Finally, I was totally well from sore throat, let's go!
Together Nasi Lemak
Yes, that's the shop's name. Together Nasi Lemak. Nasi means rice in our Malay language. And lemak means fat. It is rice cooked in coconut milk and it is so fragrance, with the addition of screwpine leaves in the rice while cooking it, it has double fragrance.
It is located at Restoran Mang Chuan

One thing special about the nasi lemak here is they use super good quality rice which is Royal Umbrella Fragrant Rice, no wonder the rice was so delicious, I could eat it on its own, seriously.
You got to choose the basic nasi lemak set with the usual sambal paste, roasted nuts, roasted anchovies, cucumber, fried egg and papaddam or you want to upgrade yours with an additional side dish: spiced chicken, spiced pork, fried chicken XL, chicken rendang and pork rendang. So good that this stall has pork. Yay!

You may also add on smaller side dish with good price: sambal squid, sambal clam, sausage, hotdog, luncheon meat and fish fillet.
Actually I had cooked dinner for the boys at home, I cooked roasted chicken drumsticks with mashed potatoes with carrots. However, I noticed the boys could eat a lot of the chicken drumsticks, so I let them eat all. I myself cooked a small pack of instant noodle. Husband thought I should eat more, hence he said he would brought me here.
I was not that hungry till able to eat whole portion so I shared with husband. He ordered the nasi lemak set with side dish or pork berempah. The pork berempah was so well marinated with spices and also came with lots of deep fried dessicated coconut, well cooked with curry leaves. Wow! Bomb!
Husband also added a side dish of sambal Sotong (aka squid) and chicken rendang for me to try. So spicy but it was super delicious. Yums!!!
We had a good short time of dinner, both of us could eat fast, so 40 minutes spent together in this busy week. Oh well.... Hopefully we got to spend longer time another round when our schedules were not so packed. This week was super busy week for me because my Aunt had two appointments and also she wanted to stock up groceries.
Meanwhile, let me show you the dinner I cooked for them! They loved it!

The nasi lemag stall looks so cool I love wmen you can see people cooking in front of you and having all the food and the ingredients in the front of the stall, so many appetizing dishes.
