Kalio Limpa/ Spleen Kalio

Hi everyone,
Again, today we are going to cook a typical food from Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia.

Spleen Kalio

Padang cuisine is very popular with Indonesians, its delicious and distinctive taste can be accepted and liked by many people from anywhere even from all over Indonesia.
That's why there are many Padang restaurants in every city in Indonesia. And they make good money from it 😀💵

Ok let's jump to the cook process.

Ingredients:
• 1kg Cow spleen
• 5pcs Red Chilli Pepper
• 1onc Green Cayenne Pepper
• 1 Finger Galangal
• Half Finger Ginger
• 5pcs hazelnuts
• 1tbsp Coriander Powder
• 2pcs Lemongrass
• 3pcs Lime Leaves
• 1pcs Turmeric Leaves
• 500ml Thick Coconut Milk

Cooking Process:

1. Wash the meat thoroughly then boil for approximately 15 minutes

2. Drain the meat, then wash again with clean water and after that slice according to the taste.
   

3. Prepare the ingredients.
   

4. Blend red chili pepper, green cayenne pepper, ginger, hazelnuts, coriander powder.
   

5. Crushed the galangal and lemongrass and then put them all together with spices that have been blended.
   

6. Heat the cooking oil (3tbsp cooking oil), slice shallot and stir fry until the color become golden brown. put all the spices, stir fry them. And after the aroma comes out, put the spleen, cook around 5minutes and after that put the thick coconut milk.
   

7. Stir well and lift it after the seasoning thickens.
