Hello friends of hive, I hope you are well. Do you know what to cook for lunch? Today I want to share with you this recipe for a healthy breaded chicken and potatoes, without oil, using the air fryer.
Vamos a necesitar:
- Pechuga de pollo
- Harina de maÃz o pan rayado
- 1 huevo
- Condimentos: sal, pimienta, ajo, paprika, curry
- 1 o 2 papas
- Arroz
- Agua
- Air fryer
We are going to need:
-Chicken breast
Corn flour or breadcrumbs
1 egg
Seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, curry
1 or 2 potatoes
Rice
Water

Procedimiento:
1- Vamos a lavar y pelar una papa, luego la vamos a picar en tiras que no sean tan delgadas, una vez picadas las vamos a colocar en un bol con agua por unos 10min, esto con la finalidad de reducir el almidon para que nuestras papas queden mas crujientes.
We are going to wash and peel a potato, then we are going to cut it into strips that are not so thin, once chopped we are going to place them in a bowl with water for about 10 minutes, this in order to reduce the starch so that our potatoes remain crispier
2- Luego vamos a sacar las papas del bol con agua y las vamos a lavar dos o tres veces, las secamos con papel absorbente, agregamos un toque de sal y pimienta y se colocan en el air fryer por unos 15-20 minutos, o hasta que estén doradas a tu gusto.
Then we are going to take the potatoes out of the bowl with water and we are going to wash them two or three times, dry them with absorbent paper, add a touch of salt and pepper and place them in the air fryer for about 15-20 minutes, or until are browned to your liking.
3- Ahora vamos con la pechuga, puedes condimentarla con lo que mas te guste, en mi caso le agregue un poco de sal, un toque de paprika, ajo, y pimienta al gusto. Mezclamos bien y la dejamos reposar por 15-20 minutos.
Now let's go with the breast, you can season it with whatever you like, in my case I add a little salt, a touch of paprika, garlic, and pepper to taste. Mix well and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
4- Después, vamos a batir un huevo en un bol pequeño, y mojamos la pechuga con el huevo, para después sellarla con harina de maÃz de tu preferencia, a mi me gusta la harina PAN de empaque amarillo, pero como se habÃa acabado improvise con la de empaque naranja, y el resultado es similar.
Then, we are going to beat an egg in a small bowl, and wet the breast with the egg, to later seal it with corn flour of your choice, I like the yellow-packaged PAN flour, but since it had run out I improvised with the orange packaging, and the result is similar.
5- Luego llevamos la pechuga al air fryer, a una temperatura de 350F por 20 minutos, cuando pasen 10 minutos se debe voltear la pechuga, para que se dore bien de ambos lados.
Then we take the breast to the air fryer, at a temperature of 350F for 20 minutes, when 10 minutes have passed, the breast should be turned, so that it browns well on both sides.
6- Para acompañar este plato puedes agregar arroz, ya yo lo habÃa hecho el dÃa anterior, usualmente utilizo una taza de arroz y dos de agua, y agrego sal, ajo o curry.
To accompany this dish you can add rice, I had already done it the day before, I usually use a cup of rice and two of water, and add salt, garlic or curry.
Ya para finalizar, servimos en un plato la pechuga y las papas junto al arroz, como adicional le agregue un toque de salsa mostaza miel a la pechuga.
To finish, we serve the breast and the potatoes on a plate along with the rice, as an additional add a touch of honey mustard sauce to the breast.
