Paté de lentejas / Lentil pate [ESP-ENG]

Hola mis amigos, hoy les presento una receta distinta a base granos y espero que les guste, ¡es un rico plato! Vamos de inmediato con los ingredientes de los que deben disponer para preparar este paté de lentejas.

Ingredientes

  • 100 gr de maní u otro fruto seco (piñones, nueces, almendras o avellanas)
  • 200 gr de lentejas
  • 1 cebolla grande
  • 3 dientes de ajo grandes
  • 400 gr de tomates maduros
  • 50 gr de aceite
  • 2 huevos
  • 1/2 cucharadita de tomillo seco
  • 1/2 cucharadita de orégano seco
  • Sal y pimienta al gusto

Ingredients

  • 100 gr of peanuts or other nuts (pine nuts, walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts)
  • 200 gr lentils
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 large cloves of garlic
  • 400 grams of ripe tomatoes
  • 50 grams of oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preparación / Preparation
Poner en remojo la noche anterior los 200 gr de lentejas con agua fría. Al día siguiente colarlas y ponerlas con agua a hervir por 45 minutos, luego sacar del fuego, colar y ponerlas en un bol.

Soak the 200 gr of lentils in cold water the night before. The next day strain them and boil them with water for 45 minutes, then remove from heat, strain and put them in a bowl.

Agregar ahora uno por uno los ingredientes restantes: la cebolla rallada, el ajo triturado, el maní entero, el aceite, el tomate rallado sin semillas ni piel, los huevos, orégano y tomillo, la sal y la pimienta recién molida.

Add now one by one the remaining ingredients: the grated onion, the crushed garlic, the whole peanuts, the oil, the grated tomato without seeds and skin, the eggs, oregano and thyme, the salt and the freshly ground pepper.

Mezclar todo esto con una cuchara hasta unir los ingredientes bien.

Mix all this with a spoon until the ingredients are well blended.

Ahora engrasar un molde pequeño, sea redondo o rectangular y hornear a fuego medio por aproximadamente una hora y media, tiene que quedar dorada la superficie.

Now grease a small round or rectangular baking pan and bake at medium heat for about an hour and a half, the surface should be golden brown.

Esta receta la hice por primera vez y me sorprendí de lo sabrosa que me quedó, y la volveré a hacer muchas veces 😊.
