Guayabas medianas: 2
Tazas de azúcar: 1/2
Cucharadita de limón: 1
Colorante rojo: 1

Primero comenzamos por picar las guayabas en trozos, las colocamos en un recipiente con agua y la llevamos al fuego por 10 minutos.

Después de retirarla del fuego, las dejamos en un reposar un poco, para luego llevarlas a la licuadora, con un poquito de agua por 5 minutos.

Procedemos a color para extraer las semillas.

Luego se coloca en una olla con todos los ingredientes. (azúcar,el limón y colorante)

Lo llevamos a fuego medio y con una paleta de madera, removemos constantemente hasta que espese, o hasta que introduzcas la paleta y se vea el fondo de la olla.

** La retiramos del fue y se deja enfriar y ya lista nuestra mermelada de guayaba,la podemos guardar en la nevera, para merendar acompañada de galleta o pan ya queda a gusto de cada quien.**
