It turns out that the proverb is true, time seems to fly fast when you meet the right person. God has given us such a great gift for our meeting for more than 12 years, that finally our marriage feels much easier for the past 8 years. Everything went very well and made us both very happy.
Marriage is not an easy thing, many times you will feel like you are in hell if both of you do not try hard to maintain communication and love. That is the reality, marriage will never be smooth, there are always holes that can make the journey very pronounced.
We celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary simply, no party or excitement, just the two of us. A short but intimate dinner, not to an expensive place. We both like Japanese food. I think that's what came to mind, because my wife was curious about this restaurant every time we passed the road around here. Then promised to eat at this place because it felt a little private because it was quiet.
Amazingly, when we entered this restaurant, it turned out that almost all the seats were booked. I don't know why it's so crowded, but uniquely, the whole place feels very private, there are cubicles and also closed tables so as not to meet each other with other guests. So, as an introvert, this is very refreshing.
We chose the menu, each making a choice. I chose to eat Gyukaku Stir Frying Udon while my wife wanted to try the wagyu set. Of course, at first hearing the word 'wagyu' it felt like my wallet would fly away. It turned out not, the price was still very far from expensive. For only 7 dollars you can enjoy a set of wagyu menu with refillable rice, miso soup, salad, tempura and also cawanmushi.
A set full of joy by asking for the wagyu beef to be grilled medium rare so that you can feel the sensation of slightly raw and juicy meat. I tried it out of curiosity, with a dipping sauce that tasted similar to teriyaki and sweet. Of course, this is the most delicious food here in my opinion.
Gyukaku Udon which I had never tried before finally tried it very mindfully. This is the first time eating stir-fried udon, usually like udon that has broth, an extraordinary sensation. Of course, it tastes very good, especially with katsubushi and mushrooms as an umami and savory taste.
One of the menus that is no less interesting, gyoza. Well, this is one of the delicious ones here, because I think gyoza will always be the prima donna in Japanese restaurants. I like it, a little dipped in soy sauce that is a little sour but balanced with the taste of gyoza.
Ended with cheesecake to celebrate our eighth year of marriage, at least there is a cake that can be enjoyed and a sweet ending. This is a different cheesecake, initially I really wanted to try burnt matcha cheesecake but it turned out to be out of stock and this is a substitute, black sesame burnt cheesecake. In this cheesecake, the roasted aroma of sesame is very pronounced and I like it because it's like eating ice cream with high fat.
