This is my first experience eating something that might seem strange, but, as a citizen of a country that has more sea area than land, this maritime country amazes me and makes me feel very happy to live here. Wow, this is a source of pride.
Although not close to the sea, finding seafood is very easy here. One of the factors that makes it possible to eat fresh seafood is its good distribution, as well as proper handling of food ingredients. For that, technology is also one of the factors that makes everything easier.
So, what is that very strange food? As someone who lives in an urban area, Oysters are very rarely on the menu. You could say it's a fun seasonal food. Oysters are now easy to find, as long as you have enough money to get them.
I've been curious about Oysters lately, especially since they sound very rare in traditional markets, only a few people or restaurants provide them. But now, I'm closer to oysters, because there is a simple restaurant that is able to bring fresh, raw oysters to be present near our house.
At first I thought that getting food like this would be very difficult and expensive, however, it was not as expensive as I thought. It was even much cheaper than eating sushi at a Japanese restaurant in the mall. So, this is one good alternative to enjoy fresh raw seafood besides sushi.
Why did I eat this food? There is no reason, I just wanted to try it, my wife found this information on social media, she was curious and finally we tried to come. Although at first I was hesitant because I was afraid that the oysters provided were not fresh, however, it turned out to be the same as coming to the beach and enjoying seafood. I don't even have to go to the sea to get it anymore.
There are many types of oyster menus, not only fresh oysters, some are grilled, bbq and also made into omelets with eggs. But we only chose the grilled and fresh ones. Want to try what raw oysters taste like with only lemon juice. Ah, that's what made me fall in love with oysters even more.
Although at first I was hesitant because I was afraid that it wouldn't suit my taste buds, it turned out that my thinking was wrong. Have you ever tried raw oysters? I think it tastes good because it is fresh and has a chewy texture. It is worth trying with all the high nutrition including high protein content. So it is suitable for relaxing time by enjoying a glass of soda.
