Traditional is a word that contains so much beauty. Traditional is a characteristic, it is undeniable that traditional is a character that every region or country must have. Character builds a tradition and it is the most valuable treasure of every community, which will be an attraction for anyone who is curious about it.

On this earth there are so many regions, based on the area, climate, weather and human nature that is formed from a region will form character. For example, tropical countries must have food that is characterized by tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, for example. It could also be because there are plants that grow very well in that area and can be utilized well.

Traditional is very useful for people who are smart in utilizing it. I can give an example like a restaurant that has recently become one of my favorite restaurants, even though this restaurant has been in this city for a long time. But because I was curious about one dish that was said to be very delicious here, so I tried it. And according to expectations, it was true.

It tastes really good. Seriously. This is a family restaurant that I think is the best in this city, adjusting to the price of course. Oddly enough, this is a typical Sundanese restaurant, where the Sundanese ethnic group is very far from the island of Sumatra. But somehow the taste suits my Batak tongue.

I will detail the food that really makes me curious, namely Tahu Kipas. Different from other tofu, this tofu fan has a unique filling. There are carrots, mushrooms and also small shrimp in it. Served with a small bowl of sauce with a sweet and savory taste, almost like Bangkok sauce but the taste is softer. Usually Bangkok sauce is more dominantly sweet and has a coriander aroma, but this is a little different. I can give a rating of 10/10, must try even though the price is a little pricey from the usual fried tofu price.

Then I ordered grilled duck and also liwet rice. This is the most typical because we know that typical Sundanese cuisine is grilled and liwet is something that cannot be separated. The sticky liwet rice with the aroma of banana leaves is the most epic to increase appetite. Nasi liwet consists of rice wrapped in banana leaves and given a little fried anchovies, of course there are a few spices that make the taste of the rice very delicious and aromatic.

Don't forget to enjoy Sundanese food with a glass of cold tong tea which tends to have a very thick aroma of jasmine tea leaves. Wow, I really enjoyed this lunch perfectly.

Closed with free vegetables and fruits. Vegetables here are called 'lalapan' because the vegetables are only boiled and given a little terasi chili sauce which is incomparably delicious. Because this is a 100% free complimentary, I really enjoyed it. A little with the addition of cut fruits from tropical countries such as pineapple, papaya, jicama and cucumber. Perfected with a typical Sundanese rujak sauce that makes the taste even more double kick.

Without realizing it, I really enjoyed and was grateful for today's meal.
