Hello everyone 💕
How are you all?
I hope wherever you are, you all are doing good 🫂
Today, when I was looking in my gallery, I have seen a picture of gajar ka halwa, which I have clicked when my mother had made gajar ka halwa. I was filled with all the memories that revolved around this dish. It is one of my favourite dish. It is sweet in taste.
At my home, love is all about food. My family is a big eater. You all can call us foodie. Our love language is basically food. We prepare different dishes on different occasions.
When someone come home after days, My late grandmother and my mother's main focus was to properly feed us. They will make every dish they can make during that season.
During winters, it's gajar ka halwa or Indian Carrot Pudding. When I had came back home this time during holidays, my mom had made gajar ka halwa. Gajar ka halwa is made from carrots, sugar and ghee.
When I was a kid, my grandmother used to make a big bowl of gajar ka halwa and keep that bowl in the fridge so, we can eat it for a full week. And we kids used to finish that bowl in 3 days. That is one of the precious memory of my childhood.
I can feel the warmth of my mother and grandmother's through this picture.
That's it for this little blog .

Being a native north Indian I fulfilled my duty to eat a lot of halwa this winter but the one you made seems a little bit different.
