Being in a family that rarely goes out on an occasion, I have always wanted to treat my family in a place where we have never been to. Somewhere that's with a different scenery than that of the mall which is our usual hang-out place whenever we can. Somewhere that has a beautiful ambiance and serene.
So as a part two birthday celebration, we went to a nearby coffee shop in our town, Cafe 8020. Cafe 8020 is located at the entrance of The Woodlands Resort Communities, Yati, Liloan, Cebu. It is 1.2km away from the main highway.
The place is quiet and offers a relaxing feel with its beautiful landscapes. Its garden set-up offers alfresco dining too if you want to avoid the crowd dining inside the cafe. They also have tables set up on their rooftop if you want more feel of an open space or air.
Since it was our first time visiting here and we came for dinner, we ordered their different variety of rice bowls which can satisfy our hunger for a real meal. We had samgyupsal, chicken BBQ, fish asian and humba ni jul paired with iced tea. I should say their servings were big enough to fully load our stomachs. Not to mention we added two orders of rice bowls and they were huge. It’s actually bigger than the ones we ordered at first so we were shocked. But we never complained. Who wouldn’t love that? Their menu is a perfect fit for anyone who’s on a tight budget. Big servings but without a compromise in foods and neither the place.

We were supposed to try the New York style pizza but unfortunately, they didn’t have that available that night. So we ordered their hawaiian pizza instead and added a three cheese fettuccine.
We wanted to try their frappe, or the blended cream frappe but we were so full from all the carbs we just ate.
I have been longing to visit this place for a very long time now and this day was a perfect moment that I was so glad I had spent it with my family. I would highly recommend this for anyone who just wants to chill, study or go on a date with family and friends.
We came here in the evening and the place is magical. I bet this place offers another kind of beauty when visited in the morning. We have not tried it yet but we sure will visit again next time. That's it for a fun and memorable birthday dinner with my family which they pretty much enjoyed being an introvert and lowkey people as they are. I'm glad I did this with them and never regret doing this at CAFE 8020. A 10/10 for me!
