Hoy quise tomar el mando de la cocina pero voy a confesar algo "no tuve el éxito que esperaba".
Today I wanted to take charge of the kitchen but I'm going to confess something "I didn't have the success I expected."
Mi esposa me dijo: hoy vos te haces cargo de la cena, inmediatamente le respondí " si " pero no se me ocurría que hacer, al regreso a casa compré un trozo de carne en el supermercado sin mirar que carnero, sólo quería llegar a casa y hacer la cena.
My wife told me: today you take care of dinner, I immediately answered "yes" but I couldn't think of what to do, when I got home I bought a piece of meat at the supermarket without looking at the mutton, I just wanted to get home and make dinner.
Ni bien llegué puse a hervir cinco huevos piqué cuatro tomates y envolví la carne en papel de aluminio, le coloque sal, pimienta y lo metí en el horno. Desde el inicio no me parecía que era un buen corte de carne pero confié en el proceso. Mientras la carne se cocinaba piqué el huevo mezcle con el tomate le agregué sal mayonesa y quedó una rica ensalada de tomate y huevo.
As soon as I arrived, I boiled five eggs, chopped four tomatoes, and wrapped the meat in aluminum foil. I added salt and pepper and put it in the oven. At first, it didn't seem like a good cut of meat, but I trusted the process. While the meat was cooking, I chopped the egg and mixed it with the tomato. I added salt and mayonnaise, and it became a delicious tomato and egg salad.
Cuando aparentemente se había cumplido más de 40 minutos en el horno saqué la carne abrí el papel aluminio y me invadió un aroma delicioso, agarré el cuchillo más afilado y para mi sorpresa no lo podía cortar. Corté los dos primeros trozos y el más lindo se lo di a mi esposa, ella lo disfrutó junto con la rica ensalada que había preparado. Yo tuve que pelearme un poco con los huesos y algunos nervios, luego, volví a introducir el resto para que se cocine un poco más con la esperanza de saborear mejor la segunda tanda.
When it had apparently been in the oven for over 40 minutes, I took the meat out, opened the foil and was overcome by a delicious aroma. I grabbed the sharpest knife and to my surprise I couldn't cut it. I cut the first two pieces and gave the prettiest one to my wife, she enjoyed it along with the delicious salad I had prepared. I had to fight a bit with the bones and some nerves, then I put the rest back in to cook it a little more in the hope of tasting the second batch better.
Saque por segunda vez la carne del horno y tuve la misma dificultad para poder cortar en dos porciones, nuevamente le di la más linda a la vista a mi esposa y me quedé con otra, para mi suerte los dos trozos de carne fueron de lo peor, la carne dura, con hueso y muchos nervios. Las tres cuarta parte de todo lo que había cocinado era desperdicio.
I took the meat out of the oven for the second time and had the same difficulty cutting it into two portions. Again, I gave the prettiest one to my wife and kept the other one for myself. Luckily, both pieces of meat were the worst, the meat was tough, with bones and lots of nerves. Three-quarters of everything I had cooked was waste.
Pero fuera de eso disfrutamos de una linda y rica cena, un lindo momento juntos.
But other than that we enjoyed a nice and delicious dinner, a nice moment together.
