#LivingElSalvador. Cleaning Fresh, Harvested Beans.

While visiting one of our friends, he gave us some of his bean harvest, which was very nice.

As soon as we got home, we started to clean the beans, so that I can cook them.

It was actually fun cleaning the beans with my husband. It's actually quite relaxing and you really appreciate the food so much better than just going to the store and buying it.

Sure it takes more time and you have a bit of mess, but like I mentioned before, planting, harvesting and preparing your own grown, fresh foods is just so much more rewarding and you get to spend more quality time with your family.
