Cooking Filipino Dish | Pinakbet

Hello fellow hivers and foodies lover! How are you all? Hope you're all doing great!
What is your menu for today's dish? Well, for me I just cooked Pinakbet, a filipino famous vegetable dish.

Today's blog, I'll show you the procedures, and the ingredients needed in cooking this dish. It's just very simple so I hope you guys will learn later about this recipe.

Ingredients

~Bittergourd
~Okra
~Eggplant
~Tomatoes
~Garlic
~Onions
~Ginger
~Bagoong
~Cooking Oil
~Peppermint
~Magic Sarap
~Water

Wash those ingredients and prepare...

Tomatoes. After slicing the tomato, I removed its seed because I want it that way. (It's optional if you remove it or not)

Bittergourd (remove the seeds)

Okra (slice them in to two per piece)

Eggplant (Cut them into 4 per piece)

I forgot to tell you, slice and boil the pork first before preparing the ingredients.

Wait till the oil from the pork comes out and use it to saute for the garlic, as you can see in the picture.

Saute the onion for 2 minutes

Add peppermint and saute it.

Mix them well and be ready to prepare the veggies.

Saute the tomatoes.

Put all the vegetables in the pan

Add water, bagoong and magic sarap. Be careful in adding bagoong so that you will balance the taste of your PINAKBET.

Put the magic sarap

Mix it well in the pan, taste it untill you'll be satisfied.

Cover the pan and wait until it boil. If the water is lessen just adjust the fire to low heat and let the veggies absorb the taste of the soup. And if you can smell the delicious taste of the PINAKBET, and if you're satisfied that it's already cook then>>> LET's EAT!
