Chicken & Caramelized onions

Today I bring you a recipe where we will use onions, yes! I personally like to use them in all my recipes.

For this recipe we will use chicken breast, we will season it to our liking, I used garlic and onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper. In a frying pan I browned it on both sides.

Hoy les traigo una receta dónde utilizaremos cebollas, ¡sí! A mí en lo personal me gusta usarlas en todas mis recetas.

Para esta receta usaremos pechuga de pollo, la vamos a condimentar a nuestro agrado, yo utilicé ajo y cebolla en polvo, paprika, sal y pimienta. En una sartén la doré por ambos lados.

We are going to use a large white onion, the cut can be in julienne strips, we are going to put it in the pan together with a piece of butter and oil, we are going to brown this, cook for approximately 25 minutes until it takes on a slightly brown color, caramelized.

After that time we are going to add balsamic vinegar or the one you have also works, we wait 10 minutes and we will see that the color will continue to change to darker, we will take the opportunity to use beef broth. We will use 500ml of broth but first we will add half and let it cook for a few minutes.

vamos a utilizar una cebolla blanca grande, cortada, el corte puede ser en julianas, la vamos a poner en la sartén junto con un trozo mantequilla y aceite, esto lo vamos a ir dorando, cocinar por aproximando 25 minutos hasta que tome un color un poco marrón, es decir, hasta que caramelicé.

Transcurrido ese tiempo vamos a agregar vinagre balsamic o el que tengan también funciona, esperamos 10 minutos y veremos qué el color seguirá cambiando a más oscuro, aprovecharemos para utilizar caldo de res. Utilizaremos 500ml de caldo pero primero agregaremos la mitad y dejamos cocinar unos escasos minutos.

It is time to add a little crushed garlic, some herbs, a little bit of spice, a teaspoon of mustard, a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, also 2 teaspoons of flour on low heat and mix well so that it becomes a little thick and let it cook.

Es momento de agregar un poco de ajo machacado, algunas hierbas, un poco de picante, una cucharadita de mostaza, una cucharadita de salsa inglesa, también 2 cucharaditas de harinas en fuego bajo y mezclar bien para que se vuelva un poco espesa y dejar cocinar.

Now we add the chicken breasts and we will let them cook a little more, approximately 10 more minutes, and after that time we are going to add a little mozzarella cheese on top.

Ahora agregamos las pechugas de pollos y las dejaremos cocinar un poco más, aproximadamente 10 minutos más, y luego de ese tiempo por encima le vamos a añadir un poco de queso mozzarella.

The last thing we will do is wait for the cheese to melt and it would be ready to serve.

Lo último que haremos será esperar a que el queso derrita y ya estaría listo para servir.
