Kuey Teow Basah (Wet Flag Noodles) & Spiced Fried Chicken

Kuey Teow Biasa with Telur Mata, aka Normal Flat Noodles with Sunny Side Up Egg. And I added spiced fried chicken. For extra tang, I added pickled green chillis which is amazing to cut through the strong taste of the dish.

This is the same as the above just a different part of chicken taken by my friend.

The cashier where we make our orders and pay for our food. It didn't look like this a few years ago and they've definitely upgraded it during the pandemic. It's ways cleaner and more organised now. Another food that's famous here is the Nasi Lemak, our national dish. But we didn't order it tonight.

This is a different station, the kuey teow station where they only cook this one dish throughout the night. They're very fast and efficient!

This was taken after work when I was walking to my car. It's been a very hectic week so far and today, I was in a meeting from 10am-5.30pm with a 45-mins break in between but that was kinda rushed too. However, I'm grateful for everything and have my eyes just fixed on my job and doing it solely for the audience of One.

I initially wanted to have dinner at a Chinese roadside stall nearby the University but then we drove past this Mali's Corner and we both exclaimed! We decided, we're having our dinner here. From what I know, they've been here for about 20 years and the quality of food has been utterly consistent throughout. I really enjoy their food and it brings me comfort too, especially after a long tiring day.
