I've never eaten the jackfruit or the jackfruit cake. But it looks like a peach cobbler in its appearance. What does the fruit taste like, tart or mellow in its flavor?

The taste of jackfruit is very sweet, and a little crunchy on its thick flesh. Only when it is too ripe, the flesh becomes soft and fibrous.
