Hello friends of HIVE BLOG IN FOODIEES BEE HIVE, today I come to share a very rich and easy recipe for a Venezuelan sweet, which here is popularly known as "TUNJA" (PAPERON CAKE) is a sweet based on paprika, wheat flour and spices, with a nice texture .
Ingredients
1 kilo of Wheat Flour
1 Cone of Papelón
1 tablespoon of baking soda
Spices (cinnamon, cloves)
1 egg
1 tablespoon of butter
400 ml of water
._Chop the papelón into pieces.
._ Place it on the fire, together with the water and the spices, leave on the fire until the Papelón is completely dissolved, let cool and strain to remove impurities and spices.
*In a bowl, place the wheat flour, baking soda, egg and butter.
._ gradually add the liquid from the PAPELÓN until you obtain a mixture homogeneous.
Grease and flour the cake pan or mold and pour the mixture.
Take it to the oven previously reheated for approximately 45 minutes, you will know it is ready when a toothpick or knife inserted in the center comes out completely clean.
Remove from the mold, serve and enjoy a good piece of papelon cake.
