¡Hola amigos de Foodies!

¡Arreglé mi horno! 😃

Después de pasar un tiempo donde solo calentaba por la parte de abajo y sufrir porque las tortas no se doraban ni subían lo suficiente, el problema ha sido resulto jaja.

Para estrenar nuevamente 😆, decidí hacer una torta, en esta ocasión un rico bizcocho de pocos ingredientes sabor a café, acompañado de un sirope de café casero el cual también les mostraré como hacer.

Si eres amante del café te recomiendo esta torta y si no lo eres, pues también te la recomiendo porque queda muy buena. 😄

I fixed my oven! 😃

After spending some time where it only heated from the bottom and suffering because the cakes did not brown or rise enough, the problem has been solved haha.

To release again 😆, I decided to make a cake, this time a rich sponge cake with few ingredients coffee flavor, accompanied by a homemade coffee syrup which I will also show you how to make.

If you are a coffee lover I recommend this cake and if you are not, well I also recommend it because it is very good. 😄

  • Comenzamos separando las claras de las yemas. 😊
  • We start by separating the egg whites from the yolks. 😊

  • Batimos las claras hasta el punto de nieve y añadimos la mitad del azúcar, continuamos batiendo hasta darle un poco firmeza o mas que firmeza queremos es incorporar bien el azúcar.
  • Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks and add half of the sugar, continue beating until slightly stiff or more than stiffness we want to incorporate the sugar well.

  • La otra mitad del azúcar la añadimos a las yemas y batimos hasta obtener una mezcla blanquecina y cremosa.
  • The other half of the sugar is added to the egg yolks and beat until a whitish, creamy mixture is obtained.

  • Juntamos ambas preparaciones y mezclamos con una cuchara.
  • Combine both preparations and mix with a spoon.

  • Momento de añadir la harina de trigo, el bicarbonato, la esencia de café y mezclamos, también con una cuchara.
  • Time to add the wheat flour, baking soda, coffee essence and mix, also with a spoon.

  • Añadimos la preparación al molde y llevamos al horno.
  • Cocinamos por 30 minutos a 180 grados centígrados.
  • Add the preparation to the mold and take it to the oven.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

  • Después de hornear dejamos enfriar 😋
  • After baking, let it cool 😋.

  • Mientras el bizcocho se enfría, agregamos a un bol la leche en polvo, el azúcar y el café para preparar el sirope. (El café debe estar fuerte)
  • Llevamos al fuego y dejamos hervir hasta que homogenice y espese un poco.
  • Después de esto retiramos del fuego y dejamos enfriar también.
  • While the cake is cooling, add the powdered milk, sugar and coffee to a bowl to prepare the syrup (the coffee must be strong).
  • Heat and let it boil until it homogenizes and thickens a little.
  • Then remove from the heat and let it cool as well.

  • Desmoldamos el bizcocho y cortamos en rebanadas.
  • Unmold the cake and cut into slices.

  • Por ultimo vamos a agregar el sirope de café al bizcocho. 😋
  • Finally we are going to add the coffee syrup to the cake. 😋

Oh dear the ingredients seems like a common in ingredients in my area, that’s would be easy for me to find this. This turns out with a nice texture and looks yummy as well, I will appreciate it flavor if I experience making this kind of delicious coffee cake. I only remember I used to bought it somewhere faraway from my house, that’s when I come back from my vocation. The taste is super tasty.
