Pork cutlets in Shrimp Paste Recipe

Hello there Hivers! Long time no post here in Hive. It's been a tough time for me these last few months. Struggles and challenges have piled up and overwhelmed me. But nonetheless, I am back on track and today I will share to you guys my recipe: Prok cutlets in Shrimp Paste Recipe!

So wear now your apron and let's satisfy those taste buds!

This recipe is my own recipe and since I love shrimp paste, I collaborated this with my favorite vegetable.

Here are the ingredients:

  1. Pork Cutlets
  2. Two pieces large eggplants
  3. Onion and Garlic
  4. Shrimp paste of your liking
  5. Seasoning Mix
  6. Oil
  7. Cup of Water

First, we need to clean all the ingredients, especially the vegetable and pork. Cut the eggplant into equal pieces.

Next, cut also the spices like the onion and garlic. Spices are important in cooking for a meal because it can give an appetizing aroma to the dish that we are cooking.

Next step, in a heated pan, pour enough oil to coat the pan and fry the pork cutlets until golden brown. Allow the natural oil of the pork to tenderize the pork itself, this will eliminate all excess fat from the pork.

Mix the pork in the pan and make sure that all cutlets are submerged in oil. After achieving the golden brown color of the pork, set aside it and allow it to cool.

Do the same with the eggplant, frying this before cooking allows the vegetable to have this crisp and the natural sugar of this veggie will add to the flavor of our dish.

Set aside the eggplent after frying.

Using the same oil, fry now the spices. Make sure to lower the heat to medium flame.

Get a spoonful of shrimp paste and put it in the pan.

Next, add again the fried pork and eggplant into the same pan. Mix the ingredients in the pan making sure that all of it is coated with the spices.

Add salt and pepper to the dish. You can also add seasoning mix to have an extra taste. In this part, you can adjust the seasonings according to your preference. Next, add a cup of water so that this can soften the pork. Allow it to boil for 5-8 minutes.

After 5-8 minutes, your dish is ready to go!

This dish is very simple yet very delicious. This can be best paired with rice and a glass of cola.
