How to prepare a delicious curry rice with meat and carrots / ENG-ESP

Today, I present you a VERY delicious and appetizing recipe, I will explain "step by step" how to prepare an exquisite "curry rice with meat and carrots". I'm sure that after enjoying this recipe, it will become one of your favorite dishes... Let's put on the apron!

Hoy, les presento una receta MUY deliciosa y apetitosa, les explicaré "paso a paso" como preparar un exquisito "arroz al curry con carne y zanahoria". Estoy segura que después de disfrutar de ésta receta se convertirá en uno de sus platillos predilectos... Pongámonos el delantal!

  • To make this recipe I used 400 gr of lean meat, cut into "medium" cubes. Season with seasoned salt, mustard and cumin powder. Mix and leave to marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Para realizar ésta receta utilicé 400 gr de carne magra, cortamos en cubos "medianos". Aliñamos con sal condimentada, mostaza y comino en polvo. Mezclamos y dejamos macerar durante 30 minutos en la nevera.

  • Fry in 3 tablespoons of olive oil: 2 onions, 6 cloves of garlic (finely chopped), together with 4 slices of bacon. Fry until the "bacon" acquires a slightly golden consistency.
  • Sofreímos en 3 cucharadas de aceite de oliva: 2 cebollas, 6 dientes de ajo (finamente cortados), junto con 4 lonchas de tocineta. Sofreímos hasta que la "tocineta" adquiera una consistencia un poco dorada.

  • Add 6 sweet peppers... This ingredient will provide a VERY tasty contrast!
  • Añadimos 6 ajies dulces... Éste ingrediente aportará un contraste MUY sabroso!

  • Incorporate the meat cubes that we had reserved...

  • We add our colorful "carrot" together with our star ingredient: we add 1 heaping teaspoon of "curry", mix until well integrated. In this step, if necessary, we adjust the salt level.
  • Agregamos nuestra colorida "zanahoria" junto con nuestro ingrediente estrella: colocamos 1 cucharadita colmada de "curry", mezclamos hasta integrar bien. En éste paso, de ser necesario ajustaremos el punto de sal.

  • Add 1 cup of rice together with 2 cups of water, let it boil for the first 5 minutes, cover and cook over low heat for approximately 30 minutes or until it is ready.
  • Integramos 1 taza de arroz junto con 2 tazas de agua, dejaremos hervir los primeros 5 minutos, tapamos y cocinamos a fuego "bajo", aproximadamente durante 30 minutos o hasta comprobar que está listo.

Can use shrimps or eggs as meat to this rice?

You can substitute the meat protein for the egg, I suggest you put it at the end of the preparation. I have never tried adding shrimp, but it should be very tasty. I am sure it will be delicious!
